Hoi Rudy.. Nice series for beginners but one of the first things to consider is not use the delay() option. It's not recommended to use. There are many different options to avoid delay() because it will stop the processing to stop. If it's only for this purpose then it is OK.. don't use it when the sketches become more complicated. Good luck!

Those are 0603 SMD LEDs.

@@Zuignappie I soldered wires onto them such that they fit snugly into a breadboard.
