Beavers Walking on 2 Feet to Mark Territory

Saturday night scent-marking! Here are video clips of four different beavers that I watched walking out of the river to make scent mounds on Saturday evening. Watching the beavers walk on their hind legs carrying mud is one of my favourite beaver activities to witness and film. Enjoy!

To me what is even more amazing is that the first beaver not only walked on hind legs with a load, but climbed an almost vertical riverbank. These beautiful creatures never fail to amaze me.
