    I'm not sure how much that case study has to do with socialization vs hormones/wiring tbh. all that really has to do with is the socialization of homosexuality, not sexuality in general.

    So, our brains naturally objectify people based upon cues, but objectification is wrong? Sounds like a Catch-22 expectation to me.

      What he fails to realize is something some guy told me that changed my entire worldview on that. He said something along these lines:
      Humans are objectified so much that the idea is rarely in a sxual context.
      Everyone is objectified for everything, and no one realizes it. When you purchase items, you are objectifying the cashier, when you take an Uber or taxi, you’re objectifying the driver, when you order a drink, you’re objectifying the bartender. Objectifying someone is simply turning them into a mechanism that gets you a certain outcome. The list of objectifications goes on and on into the more nuanced.
      Was super interesting to me.
