I don't know if Joshua can be that old but I'm very close to considering the theory that he might be immortal, this is supported by a cutscene in the world ends with you. For those of you who don't know which cutscene I'm talking about I'm talking about the one where his opponent shoots at him but as soon as the bullet almost hits Joshua's head it multiplies or breaks into several pieces. So my guess is either he's a mortal or he just has the ability to manipulate objects.
