I'd love to see how you use Notion for tracking your work. I also have the template but feel like I'm just bumbling around with it. Your Black Roses project is my fave! Gorgeous 😍
Enjoyed your WIP Parade. You are amazing with all of your big pieces. I have just started stitching on you fabric Darling David. It is the first piece from your shop and I love the coloring. I am going to order some new pieces of cloth to stitch on. I read 80 books last year and thought that was good but you did more that that. I have already finished 2 books for 2025.
You certainly have your work cut out for you! I have only 2 or 3 full coverage stitches, and my oldest WIP is from 2018 called Determine by Dana Batho of Peacock & Fig. (Discontinued). It is heavy on the confetti. I use the Royal Rows method by Alison Royal (on UA-cam). It uses the parking method, which I swore I couldn’t ever figure out but it works and I have completed about 2/3rds of the whole pattern within the past year. Good luck with all your stitching and continued fabric line. Thanks for the book reviews - definitely one of my interests.😊
It’s a passion project for sure. It’s gorgeous and I am loving how it’s coming out, but it is a LOT of work and sometimes feels like I’ll never finish it. Hopefully someday though!
Great recap! I’m in the SF East Bay and we have two WIPs in common. We’re at about the same place on 324 and you’re way ahead of me on Kringles. Thanks for the inspiration. I’d love some Notion tips…I’m trying to figure it out.
Crafty Emily had similar issues with Kingdom of Books and came up with a much more workable way of stitching it - see her WIP parade (just released) for further info. It really is a beautiful piece so it would be great if you could make it work.
Happy New Year! Loved spending time stitching with you. I, too, am a fan of Joan Elliott and have the Solstice sitting in my cart. I’m currently working on Astrology designed by Joan Elliott. You have some stunning Fall pieces, I enjoyed seeing your projects. And your book wrap up … You’ve intrigued me to pick up Variation! And it’s crazy to say I haven’t read any of your 2024 top 10! Several are on my TBR, so gotta bump those to must reads this year. I read 53 books in 2024, my top two were The God of the Woods by Liz Moore and Strange Sally Diamond by Liz Nugent. The Goldfinch by Donna Tart was a top too! Are you a part of any book clubs? I’ve been dreaming of a stitchy virtual bookclub 😊 Thanks for sharing your joys with us!
I have heard a lot of good things about the God in the Woods. Definitely on my TBR list. Strange Sally Diamond was one of the ones I originally had ok the top ten and then had to sacrifice it at the last minute! Thanks for sharing! I’m not in any book clubs. A virtual stitchy book club sounds awesome. We always talk books at one of my local stitching groups but usually just to make suggestions for Tbr lists. It would be awesome if we all read the same book and could discuss it while we were stitching!
Great WIP parade. Lots of projects! Great stitching. Love your book reviews. A couple books I really enjoyed in 2024 were The Little Liar, The Frozen River, Lady Tan’s Circle of Women, Go As A river and The Borrowed Life Of Frederick Fife. How do I follow you on Goodreads? Happy New Year!!
Hello back! We have a local stitchy group that gets together once a month at a local library. If you are on Facebook and search for For the Love of Stitches, you can join the group and get notified of the events. Would love it if you could join us sometime. There are a couple of other flosstubers that attend, including Sarah’s Stitchy Spot. She mentioned the group on her Flosstube once and that’s how I found them.
I have a couple of book recommendations that I think you will enjoy. Author Nick Pirog the 3:00am series is great! It really makes you think. (I also love his series Thomas Prescott.) It was awhile ago you mentioned a book you liked because the character was quick thinking and super smart in dangerous situations but I forgot which book. Along those lines I really liked The 6:20 Man by David Baldacci. Pure coincidence that my two main recommendations have time in the title.😉
Thanks for the recommendations. I am thinking the character I mentioned might be the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child. I have read a couple of books in the series and liked them both so far. Super smart and action packed!
Happy New Year! Always enjoy your updates and the pieces you are working on. The Grand Library is looking amazing! Your fabrics are beautiful. I will have to check out your shop. Do you do Aida as well? Thanks for sharing and happy stitching.
Just found you. Love your finishes and your progress on your beautiful wips. Happy stitching!
It sounds like shopping from our own stashes seems to be the mantra for 2025. Your full coverage designs are choice.
Beautiful beautiful projects. The grand library😍. Happy stitching

Your grand Library is Amazing! It’s beautiful. I’m still on the fantasy section…. It’s taking sooo long! 😂
❤. Awesome year end video Lynne!

Great WIPS, but seriously you need to come over so we can get some of your pieces on the wall or shelf LOL
Happy New Year. Loved seeing your progress on your WIPs.
Great Wip parade and a very Happy New Year Lynne. I'm restarting Enchanted cottage by LucaS on 25count soon. Love the new starts too. Happy stitching.
Happy New Year! Every time I watch your videos I spend an hour talking myself in and out of starting The Grand Library. What a gorgeous piece!

I would enjoy seeing how you use Notion.

My top read of 2024 was The Women.
Happy New Year! I wish you lots of stitching time this year! Happy stitching 💜
Thank you! You too!
Happy New Year! Amazing finishes and WIPs! Excited to watch your progress this year.
Thank you!

Glad I found you! I literally have about the same amount done on the enchanted house one!
I have been watching you recently too! You are on my list to shout out in my next video. We have similar tastes in our projects.
@ThoseMissingStitches oh funny! Yes, as I was watching your video I was thinking oh I have that one too or I wanted that one too. 🤍😄

Yep, I sure do!
This my first time meeting you. Love your fabric! Stunning WIPS! Do you grid your fabrics or do they come that way?
My full coverage projects are all on pre-gridded fabric that comes that way. I tried gridding something myself once and it was a lot of work!
