Salzedo was such an amazing musician! This is just an incredible piece, with such sophisticated harmony and an unequalled understanding of harp technique and sonority. Thank you for the upload!
Amazing music, amazing perfomance!
Breathtaking!!!
2:51 We now know where Ravel got some of his ideas for the Piano Concerto in G from 😉

The lever harp is very easy to pick up and is beautiful with a learning curve that is moderate. After a few months of regular practice you can play songs fluidly and have a ton of fun. The pedal harp is an invention of genius proportions and takes thousands of hours of diligent training amd practice to be able to be considered skilled.
Not nearly as difficult as most other instruments actually.. the learning curve is quite low and it’s easy to pick up
@@FreakieFan It's not too difficult to start on, but it is incredibly difficult to play well. It's easy for beginners because you can't play out of tune but the fingerings and pedal changes become very difficult.
@@justinl776as a performance level harpist I can tell u they are the exact same shit in terms of technique. The only differences are the range of the instruments and the fact one has pedals
Wow!!!
