Most people nowadays would find great convenience in using ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, etc., Some other great ideas include bay leaf, cardamom, and cocoa. Sweet spices add natural sweet flavours without adding sugar and calories. Oh yes, fresh ginger-root finely grated or diced....can go well in almost any drink, porridge, or other dish.

    C. minute 9:00, I like how often you refer to health-benefits, but at the very same moment you were removing an important source of fibre and nutrients: the skin and the food beneath it. If you have already cleaned the skin and cooked the food, you should use the whole food as God has given it to us. Tip: by grating, chopping, dicing or cubing ground-foods/fruits/vegetables, you can enjoy the health-benefits of edible skins and seeds while making them much more palatable because these methods of preparation make them hardly visible or noticeable in the final dish.
