I love the different stages of the video, mom enters the screen, child shocked during 1 second, the other 3 seconds are him accepting it, and when the mom is about to leave probably thinking she ruined it, the kid starts to dance and even increasing the lights inviting her to reenter the stage and having fun together. You can see the change in the mother's expression going from sad to happy again.
it's the mom going to leave then the kid going all in that makes me swoon
it seems to me that he was not so much embarrassed as he thought that something had happened and his mom had come to tell him about it or something like that. in any case, these are my guesses, and his reaction warms my heart :)

He was LIVE streaming - over reacting wouldn't have looked good to his followers. You can see him get embarrassed and worried about what they'll think, then once he looks off camera to his computer he can see they're not making fun of the kid or his mom [and are probably cheering her on] then he gets the smile on his face. Yeah it's cute, but it would have been cuter if he didn't look for the validation of his peers first.

It's like you've never watched a live stream. It's literally instant messaging. And most streamers who do the rave/club streams like this have the chat open the entire time so they can see the feedback about the music they're playing or what effects they're doing.
