y'know... this might look bad, but this dude's actually a fricking legend... if anybody had any idea how hard it is to drift with a steering wheel, my GOD it is hard!! This is cooming from someone who can get over 40000 points in a single drift using a controller...
Well Fanatec makes a Belt driven wheel called the GT3RS, and it is really quiet, can be had with a 6 speed shifter, and CSR Elite pedals for $260, 40 less than the G27, great buy!
I tried at first with a corvette z06. I guess I tuned it too hard! ;P It really didn't do the job for me, then i got my supra fully tuned for fun! And I'll tell you what a beast, wheelspin when you want it but not as difficult as the Z06. My best score though was in a reworked silvia I had in the garage. 18 grand mann! ;) heh! And a nice subtle car!
corvette wouldnt be my first choice for drifting. I own 2 of them in the game, but they aren't great for drifting. I tried setting them up to do so, but they work better for me as track cars. In fact, my favorite drift car is the Mazda Autozam AZ1. If you get the settings right, you can't not drift lol strangely though, i manage to keep things undercontrol
@sniper11789 this is gt5 prologue were u can hav 900 degrees u can tell by the date. in gt5 the full game u dont get 900 degrees. I dont think so anyway i havent found any1 tht does hav 900 unless they have a fantec wheel
@Palmhoejnielsen i have the same instalation ... PC monitor have better latency than a tv screen, and the G25 must have good fixation so it's better like that ;)
so, does this mean GT5 finally fixed the handling to realistically portray wheel slide unlike GT4 that felt like understeer or instant death oversteer were the only options? Also, have you played NFS: Shift? which handling model is more realistic? I'll probably have to get GT5 anyway from sheer curiosity, but it would still be nice to know, especially from someone that has a wheel.
Woah woah woah, I hooked up the G25 on my PS3 after playing some Dirt 2 on my PC, and it totally had NO FORCE FEEDBACK on GT5P. No rumble, no nothing ): Clutch didn't work either..
@martijn5244 Do you actually own Shift or just played it? I didn't like Shift until I turned off all driver assists except for ABS and played it with a wheel (I have the Driving Force Pro that came out alongside Gran Turismo 4). Aside from that, I'll take your word on GT5 since even the professional reviewers lack any real enthusiast-level knowledge of driving mechanics.
@martijn5244 Get to a corner at a speed you might thing is too low, at low revs, then turn in hit the gas pedal and steer to the wrong side. (this is acually a power slide, later on you can try it with a handbrake but powerslides get you on the way) pretty long comment but I hope it will help you :)
no, I'm not trolling. I don't have any of that, no games no wheel... I'm interested in setting myself up... I made the comment a while ago. I was looking at set ups on youtube and figured whatever I do I need to buy a good wheel first. but yeah the wheel was as loud if not louder then the game. I still have no idea what to buy...
Can you recommend the G25? Or should I rather spend a little bit more money to afford the G27? Does the gear lever feel realistic (in manual, not in sequentil mode)?
I love how the force feedback helps the driver to drift.
y'know... this might look bad, but this dude's actually a fricking legend... if anybody had any idea how hard it is to drift with a steering wheel, my GOD it is hard!! This is cooming from someone who can get over 40000 points in a single drift using a controller...
the only man who could drive in gt5
Finally a vid i can use as reference for practise myself. Nice done man :)
The new drift king
You will be a great driver broo. Great performance on drifting! OMG!
Well Fanatec makes a Belt driven wheel called the GT3RS, and it is really quiet, can be had with a 6 speed shifter, and CSR Elite pedals for $260, 40 less than the G27, great buy!
Dsub's right drifting with a wheel is hard. I can't drift real good with a wheel but I can with a remote. Awesome drifting
your wheel sounds like you saying WOW, WOW, WOOOW :)
Like a boss. Very nice job.
That's what you call proper way of drifting and counter steering the wheel! Nice! But I only got DFGT...
This looks like so much fun!
holy cow i forgot how noisy the g25 wheel was. Nice driving sir.
I tried at first with a corvette z06. I guess I tuned it too hard! ;P It really didn't do the job for me, then i got my supra fully tuned for fun! Like a boss ! Dude your so good. (:
Tyres:
Corvette WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!!
Corvette
STAHP!
Ok, Now I have this new information I can be as pro as you!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAYYYY
@HaloCustomFilms oke with me it works fine, you can engage the clutch by pressing the triangle button on the steering wheel.
your drift is awesome
Dude! You are beast!!!
very nice drifts
because they use a spring system to self center, no force feedback on those
Thanks, the only thing I did was fit comfort tyres. I didn' t change anything to the car's settings;)
Looking good bro! ;-)
ur the best drifter
Its all right, normally in a drift you wanna try to use the wheel less as possible !
@HoneyMrBunny YES. GT5 (with a GOOD streering wheel) and real world is quite the same.
That game has helped me A LOT... :)
it'd be actually pretty funny to see the monitor tip over at 1:08 xD
very good control...
This is Awesome
@martijn5244 thats my favorite track! its perfect for drifting, as you have just demonstrated lol
gast , dat was een kei coole drift :O
@konig000 Thanks!! Yes it has force feedback, it' s a logitech G25 ;)
Yes I did! only it sucks that they have delayed it again...
Nice job :-)
Nice :) !! You're awesome
DAMN!!! Nice!
@G4rb0han Yes it is fully compatible;) clutch and h pattern work verry nice:)
great system!
@xseeker339 It is the logitech illuminated keyboard. So i dont see the ROFL part in that. Logitech decided to give it that name ;)
Awesome ride dude, should try the drive for real ;)
Like a Boss
Ziet er wel nice uit :)
Nice 1
Nice setup mate.
I'll be doing the same soon enough. is that wheel with 'force feedback'?
I take it you pre ordered the game?
corvette wouldnt be my first choice for drifting. I own 2 of them in the game, but they aren't great for drifting. I tried setting them up to do so, but they work better for me as track cars. strangely though, i manage to keep things undercontrol
@martijn5244 go to settings at the home screen then go to steering wheel settings then turn force feedback to 1 cant turn it off
This was cool :-)
This kid knows how to drive
Great driving. What in-game settings are you using? I assume "Simulation" steering?
@DanielKTM85sx oke, I do have the Force Feedback on, you should find it in the settings of gran turismo I think
Dude, ur good!
@XxPeppermanxX : A mysterious cable called HDMI cable can make a PS3 game look like a computer game...amazing xD
Lol. I like ur setup. XD
I have a G25, Z10, illuminated keyboard and a samsung monitor. Although that one is different :P
ur steering delayed!?^ haha i think that guy is delayed =D nice drifting man that was sweet!
Pro gamer ;)
awesome! :D
Why don't you post more? I absolutely love your videos
wow man nice :))
je simule sur le meme materiel et ke ne suis jamais ariver a ce resulta bravo pour ta conduite ;)
@tipANDsip I don' t know, I didn't do anything about it, just plugged the usb in and everything works fine
nice skills

@sniper11789 this is gt5 prologue were u can hav 900 degrees u can tell by the date. in gt5 the full game u dont get 900 degrees. I dont think so anyway i havent found any1 tht does hav 900 unless they have a fantec wheel
It's a G25. If your looking for a wheel buy the G27. It looks like this one but its silent and better build quality.
hes takin a license test
martijn93, i think I have seen you in some races online i am Gabriel24X
it is maybe harder because you have 900º - drifting with a g25/27 is the best thing you can do ♥
nice man!
Ur awesome
the only thing I did was fit comfort tyres. I didn' t change anything to the car's settings;)

@martijn5244 nice, but the guy is right,it is delayed
very goog driver.
@TheFlyingpigy Because it was meant to be an exclusive to PS3 game. Haven't all GT's been exclusive to PS?
@svennieking I didn't change anything to the FFB settings!!
man, i wish i could drift this good with my g25 :(
cool maan!
Woah woah woah, I hooked up the G25 on my PS3 after playing some Dirt 2 on my PC, and it totally had NO FORCE FEEDBACK on GT5P. No rumble, no nothing ): Clutch didn't work either..

Check out the video discription for my latest vid's with my new Logitech G27! and Sony Bravia LED tv!
@igotapk Yes it is a lot of money but is it worth it, you are faster and it feels really very realistic, a controler doesn't come even close
@martijn5244 thanks. it just looks so epic. I WANT ONE! lol
nice

i want gran turismo guys to make a pc game !! that would be awesome !!
@neogeon I didn't own it but I lend it from a friend for a couple of days;) I really didn't like it. I also used my G25 with it
cara sou seu fãn
from the thumbnail, it looks like you had your foot on the table.
cool man but teh only thing your missing is a 48'' screen
Can you recommend the G25? Or should I rather spend a little bit more money to afford the G27? Does the gear lever feel realistic (in manual, not in sequentil mode)?
@mickeilkeil
okay ;D
My friend and I is going to buy the game we love drifting lool ;D
ey man nice vid! Hoe doe je je autosetup? default of custom? En in welke versnelling is het best om te drifte ?
Als ik eraan denk add ik je wel op psn
i can never drift that well
Can you do a set up video for this car?
Nice video btw but what is the name of your speekers?
