Earth’s textures are natural and are therefore scaled at a level above reality marbles since its the real reality. Basically, Earth’s textures = real reality. There is nothing false about Earth’s reality because it’s the true reality. Gilgamesh has a soft spot for kids, this is more noticeable when he is a kid or the sage king, but his arrogant form also displays it. On the other hand, he despise adults who want to control him. That his master acts and looks a bit like Siduri -she was respectful but still called the king out pretty often- is a plus.
gil is interested in young girls with long hair just like enkidu. That's why he was interested in saber so much. Though she may not look like it, she has a some what same physique as enkidu.

That ending, the last few seconds, it didn't feel like a mere battle. It felt like two friends at the beginning of heroism reuniting, and it was as epic as I could have hoped for.
You ever read the actual Epic of Gilgamesh, my dude? Enkidu and Gilgamesh fight eachother for days into a stalemate. That's what causes Gilgamesh to accept Enkidu as an equal. It's happened before.

Keita Haga is the OG composer of Fate and Type Moon since way back 2000. Also while he did some in Grand Order, Camelot(specifically Paladin Agateram) also have Fukasawa while Babylonia and Solomon is Ryo Kawasaki.

Love the small details included in the trailer. False Assassin being summoned without a mask and immediately using Delusional Heartbeat. The Clan Calatin being armed by False Caster following his remarks on creating heroes. Jack the Ripper being confused as to his identity due to the unusual summoning and his own nature as a legend rather than a concrete hero. It's honestly just great.

As a huge fan of both Fate and the Epic of Gilgamesh, this special went so hard. I can't count how many times I've rewatched the Gil vs Enkidu fight scene
Every Fate starts off with a fight or two. Nothing new. But this, IDC if you're a Gil/Enkidu fan or not, THIS is easily the most insane, epic, & strongest start to any Fate series. Call that a hot take, wanking, a horrible opinion, or whatever. And you know what, correction: this isn't even a fight -- this is a reunion, a greeting between 2 best friends. To the rest of the world, however, this is an all out war.

Still funny to think Gilgamesh is realistically the ONLY standard Servant out of the fakes. Enkidu is a divine spirit rammed into a vessel, Pale Rider is a conceptual plague, Jack the Ripper is another concept, Nameless Hassan is a Hassan that should be impossible to summon as shes not a fully fledged Hassan (19th candidate but didnt actually get the title) and Alexandre Dumas, while close, doesnt meet the minimum standard of Hero either (less so than Shakespeare and Hans). Rather than being exceptional, Gilgamesh is actually the only realistic Servant out of the original 6 (and it gets worse with the True, I mean, wtf even is Watcher?)
Illahi have mercy, they adapted Ryōgo Narita's novel so FKN perfectly especially with the art style/direction perfectly replicating the LN & manga illustrator 'Morii Shizuki's' style. With the insane dynamic duo of Enokido & Takahito as the directors of the project, I had full confidence in the authenticity of the adaptation but seeing this sneak peek has me at a genuine loss for words. This is another level entirely. I've waited far too many years for this. Summer 2023, I'll be there no matter what.

I love how both Gil and Ekidu's Np's seem to be each others opposite. Ekidu's comes from a flower grown by the earth meanwhile gil's is a sword from the stars meant to cause destruction

And Ea is the weapon that separates Heaven and Earth, while Enkidu is the chain that brings humanity closer to the gods... They are the perfect counter to each other and equal in every sense

Love the small details included in the trailer. False Assassin being summoned without a mask and immediately using Delusional Heartbeat. The Clan Calatin being armed by False Caster following his remarks on creating heroes. Jack the Ripper being confused as to his identity due to the unusual summoning and his own nature as a legend rather than a concrete hero. It's honestly just great.

And you know what, correction: this isn't even a fight -- this is a reunion, a greeting between 2 best friends. To the rest of the world, however, this is an all out war.
Just this one trade of blows produced enough force to rip the world apart and sew it back together...

Still funny to think Gilgamesh is realistically the ONLY standard Servant out of the fakes. Enkidu is a divine spirit rammed into a vessel, Pale Rider is a conceptual plague, Jack the Ripper is another concept, Nameless Hassan is a Hassan that should be impossible to summon as shes not a fully fledged Hassan (19th candidate but didnt actually get the title) and Alexandre Dumas, while close, doesnt meet the minimum standard of Hero either (less so than Shakespeare and Hans). Rather than being exceptional, Gilgamesh is actually the only realistic Servant out of the original 6 (and it gets worse with the True, I mean, wtf even is Watcher?)
The animation is beautiful, I really like lighting they use here it make feels really cinematic
Illahi have mercy, they adapted Ryōgo Narita's novel so FKN perfectly especially with the art style/direction perfectly replicating the LN & manga illustrator 'Morii Shizuki's' style. With the insane dynamic duo of Enokido & Takahito as the directors of the project, I had full confidence in the authenticity of the adaptation but seeing this sneak peek has me at a genuine loss for words. This is another level entirely.
I've waited far too many years for this. Summer 2023, I'll be there no matter what.
