So for my part, he’s going into a warm audio 500 series pre, through an Apollo x16 for conversion and I’m using a tad bit of LA-3A on the way in. For pro tools I’m using the stock eq7 with some 500 removed, gentle high pass up to 80ish, slight bump at 2.5k and then some light compression with the UA API 2500. Lastly I put everything in the same room verb and add a slightly longer verb as needed or mixed to taste.
