Hoy shit I just loved the little throwback through robotnik's section to sonic 2 with all the instruments and the genesis chip tune all lining up to recreate that in a natural and symphonic way that makes me remember my hard time fighting against him in the death egg just such a small yet powerful moment of the song
the version from 3.0 makes it an even more organic change, tho I like the darker atmosphere set up by this one better than the more upbeat version of Xenophane and Knuckles in the new one. Tails is almost interchangeable, but I'd definitely take the new Eggman and keep everything else from this one
