You know they are good actors/dancers when they can make you feel things that aren't there. Everyone is like "Oh my God, I can feel James and Riley's love through the dance" and you guys forgot they're acting! This *love* you can feel through the music it's fake they aren't James and Riley they are Brittany Raymond and Trevor Tordjman . But they can create the feeling and make us think they're feeling something that they're not, and that's AMAZING! Some people don't get how amazing this dance is, not because of the *love* they're showing, but because they can make us feel things that aren't there. I really love this two actors/dancers...
Five years later and it's still my favorite dance in the world and moves me to tears. This is an unforgettable moment as a TNS fan and person in general. Beautiful.

I keep coming back to this dance after all these years. It is absolutely beautiful, you can feel the emotions throught the screen. I was a child when this came out, so after all this time this dance does not only make me feel emotional but nostalgic at the same time. I love it

Extended versions remove the parts where people talk to the camera during the dance. Since they almost never cut away from the dance in the episode (the usual talking to camera is mostly voiceover instead), the extended version would look 99% the same.

After watching this you can see that every movement from her arms to her fingertips are into this dance. This is the best duet I have EVER seen. Also the way they look at each other makes it really convincing

Not necessarily romantic, but they have chemistry when they dance. The memories of this show came flooding back to me, and I saw how it helped shape my love for dance and music to this day. The Next Step was literally my childhood.
