Well...irrespective of Language concerns, showing a granny learning and speaking English Language to connect with her grandchild is good... It shows the efforts she is taking for her grandchild to develop an emotional bond through communication. In my perspective, I felt that it would have been justified, if they have shown that the grandchild is also willing to develop an emotional bond in the same level as his Granny by doing the same thing with his parents support, in the language his granny is comfortable with. This actually completes whole scenario. Love and bonding requires effort from both parties whether it is English or Telugu.
