Jerry Yan can, without words, convey the depth of Li Zhongmou's heartbreak and pain. He embodies the character he's playing with such skill you forget this is a drama. I think it's part of what makes him an exceptional actor.
I had seen it many times.... Till now I am interested in watching it occasionally.... Hats off to Jerry ,,Tongliya especially Tongtong.... Really never forgetting.... Fantastic 🎉🎉

I like the characters and love Meiling in this drama,.. she is very supportive of her best friend wu tong..she cares about wu tong and treats her as a sister, not only as a best friend.
I don't agree with it at all. That Meiling is so annoying. She was so biased and unfair to the ML and so interfering and opiniated. She really got on my nerves and the FL as well. Some parts of this drama were quite stressful, but it was well-written and the ML (and his brother) showed excellent acting skills .
This drama is marvelous. Jerry just don’t act because he know he can. His acting is epic. You can’t help but cried over and over watching this drama that full of life lessons, and how anger can destroy a family. The scene that was realistic that moved me deeply and made me shed tears was the scene when Madame Lee pleaded to X Jung to hate her instead of her son LZ inside the room where XJ was in comatose. ML's acting was outstanding , she knelt and moved towards XJ to plead him to hate her and not her son. That was an exceptional scene watching a mother crying out ready to give her life just to save her son from jail. In the very same manner, LZ took upon himself the cause of the accident in order to protect Tongtong and WT's fetus sheltered from scandal and shame.
Of course the witch mother loved her own son. But her approach was too harsh leading to her son had not had a proper feeling of love and care since childhood. LeeZM wanted to protect his wife from legal charge and the child's proper attires. But he cut off the motherly role and not allowing her to see the child anymore. The hurt feelings could never be repaired. The Lee mother and son had been taking different approaches in emotions which were not appropriately successful.
I agree. I felt so bad that LZ never knew how his mother pleaded for him. To see how she truly did love him in spite of how her own grief and bitterness made neglect him. I feel so sad that he never saw this love displayed for him to see.
I think we all need Meiling in our lives, she just a good friend 💞 imagine taking care of a pregnant friend and booking private gynaecologist for her, we need at least one friend like her
Zhoumou, Is a loving man, his got a big heart for his children, he took the blame. so that they won’t hate their mother in the future, such a manly move. Lucky for Wu Tong, that she found a man that supposed to just focused on having a happy and complete family. But she got too confident about Xiao Jun, which have a very deep grudge to his brother.
I love this movie this is the 4th time I have watched it. The actors are great and the reason behind the entire movie is so much like real life issues❤❤

I still do not understand why the half brother is forgiven so easily. He drugged Zhongmou's wife, and everyone forgives him, but when Wu Tong tried to tell everyone she did not do that, no one listens expect for Meiling. Zhongmou should have listened to her, and not other people. Then you investigate.
Zhongmou should not be blamed for not listening to his wife instead wu tong should be blamed even though she had a thing with Xiang jun it was supposed to be her past since she is now married . Because zhongmou did the same he had a girlfriend but he cut all ties when he fell in love and started pestering wu tong to marry him. What wu tong should have done was to reduce her intimacy with Xiang jun, you might want to argue that she was trying to settle the brothers differences but she did it the wrong way. Seeing him privately even after she knew he still had feelings for her and even tried to have sex with her forcefully she would have withdraw herself from him and face her husband and son. Madam lee still hated her because she thought wu tong was having an affair with Xiang jun while being with her son which is quite reasonable judging from the fact that wu tong and Xiang jun hugged right in her presence even though wu tong knew that they were not in good terms . Wu tong wouldn’t have agreed to go out with Xiang jun that day she would have taken her son out alone and maybe take her son to go and visit his dad but instead she went out with Xiang jun and even went to his place instead of dropping tong tong at his grandma’s house and then she goes to meet her husband, she is very foolish and loosed and for the fact that she lied to her husband even when he indirectly asked her she kept it a secret from him till when she was exposed and she started acting all naive and innocent. She learnt her lesson the hard way it serves her right

I saw a trailer in Jerry Yan's original vocal for the confession video.There were certain points cut off to the final version. He mentioned they 1st met in the hospital where Wu Tong wanted to save their child. She told him of his child. But he narrow-mindedly thought she might use her child to setup something for benefits. So he took away the child ruthlessly that hurt her most. After that, he could feel her motherly love extended to her child, her tough and bravery overcame. He also mentioned he had rethought countless times that if she didn't meet him that day (the day she got pregnant with the 1st child), she might not have caused too much pain. The video ended up by "Tong, I really missed you".
I would like to suggest for the both actor and actress come back to another movie with the happy life include with their skills as dance and song . Thank you ❤️❤️

Jerry and Tong are the perfect match in this love story. I wish in real life they are partner too. I wished they make more sweet episodes, the writer compress too much the ending. Given rules of all the characters well exsecuted naturally.
You know, in situation like this, the response of the husband to finding out what his half-brother did is so lame. Sincerely, a little more realistic reaction would have helped. To make it even more so, they all reconciled happily at the end 😒😒
