IU was still rookie actor among them 5 years ago, but she grow up fast as an actor and even nominated as one of the best actress in 2020 alongside other more senior actresses. With her marvelous performance on Persona and Hotel de Luna.. How awesome is that? And she's still close friend with Kim Soo Hyun too.. I'm sure all those veteran actors look at her with admiration now coz not she's a wonderful singer and lyricist but also a very talented actor...a wholesome entertainer!
In a way, Kim Soo Hyun exudes precisely the same aura as Baek Seung Chan. I feel like Kim Soo Hyun is actually just as silly in real life lol

This drama was surprisingly amazing. I am a big fan of Kim Soo Hyun but I was reluctant to watch this at first because of rumors that it was boring, etc. But I end up watching it anyway. And I was happy I didn't listen to criticisms and I was not disappointed at all! I love this drama along with his many other successful ones. He was asked many times why he accepted this kind of role, well am not surprised at all, he is a versatile actor and he can pull everything and anything through. I love him for his talent and his charisma and of course he is so handsome, too. I will forever support KSH come hell or high waters! Thumbs up!

This drama is a big hit in China even in Japan.. and the ratings of this drama in Korea. is 18 percent and that ratings is not small amount . Even in last episode this drama is number 1 of all the drama in kbs.. that's why no one dramas become failure from Kim Soo hyun

I think this drama may appear boring to some international fans but domestically it's a hit. I personally really liked it.
Seung Chan & Cindy love that couple ... cindy is just so cute ... i thought that i was going to like more Gong Hyo Jin and Kim Soo Hyun but surprisingly their relationship looks a bit like a noona dongsaeng relationship u.u so yep!!

I actually love Cindy's character. Maybe IU isn't the PERFECT fit for her but she still does an amazing job portraying a multi-layer character. On the outside, people judge Cindy and hate her for being cold-hearted and arrogant. But if they look a little deeper she has reasons for it. I feel like Cindy's a good representation of how people view others, especially Korean celebrities.
Jenna Kim what are u talking abt, she is the perfect fit. I can't imagine someone else playing cindy other than iu
She is perfect for that character, there is only three famous young female idol in acting industry at that time, Suzy, IU, and Yoona.
The only one who can portray Cindy with her successful solo career as a singer is IU, people would buy that easier than using other actress or idol.
For acting skill, it is objective, for me, her acting for her character is good but she could explore more and be more free about the character.
The low rating because maybe people in Korea not really into this anti mainstream genre and storyline of KDrama.
There is no peak climax and final happy or sad ending, just like our real life.
sorry but yea i think i'm not agree with u, after watched full of ep, i can tell that IU bring that character cindy so well, i really enjoy cindy's character bcs of her, idk why but she successed to make me feel curious but empathy at the same time to cindy just from her expression, maybe yup cindy's screen time less than others but i think her character is shining in this drama, i can't imagine someone else act for cindy except iu, iu really did a great job 👌
@@qorryaina5544 yea the low rating bcs of the story line and this drama also got some critics, not gonna lie ep 1 and 2 its a bit boring for me but from 3-until the end i enjoy it a lot :)
paper green we’re pretty much on the same wavelength. I just finished it yesterday, and Cindy was the heart of the show for me. IU’s acting to others would seem robotic, but for me it was subtle yet powerful. Every time she cried, I cried too. She was playing a character with one personality she shows to the world vs. Her other personal when she’s by herself. I thought she was amazing. And I was almost about to give up on the show during episode 1 because I wasn’t used to kdrama being like that. I’m glad I kept watching. This is definitely in my top 3 korean dramas so far.
Cindy was my fave character in this drama IU did such a great job in portraying her role👍
Kim Soo Hyun really becoming Baek Seung Chan
Simplegirl Kim He's actually really shy in real life. In an interview from a year or so ago, he said that he had to overcome his shyness to become an actor. This character should be pretty easy for him as it's who he actually is/was. I mean, as a shy and awkward guy, I can tell you, I behave exactly like Baek Seung Chan. The way he walks, gestures, everything.

The Producer ended but Baek Seung Chan still has feelings for Tak Ye Jin. Ra Joon Mo doesn't like to replace Cindy in 2 days 1 night because he's afraid that she will disappear like Yuna. Tak Ye Jin still thinks of Baek Seung Chan as a junior and Cindy is still rude looking but really adorable. Season 2 please!

May Lily Now now you two! No need for hostility! I loved Kim Soo Hyun before and discovered Cha Tae Hyun a year ago when he was doing 1n2d! I love both so much, so you could imagine how much I freaked out when they decided to do a drama together!
I wouldn't restrict yourself to *only* older actors/actresses. Yes, a lot of the young ones aren't as good, especially a lot of idols forced into acting, but I would have to say Kim Soo Hyun is THE exception. Try out My Love from the Stars! When you read the synopsis it sounds so cheesy, I know. It seems overrated and I thought so too, at first, but I ended up LOVING it and refused to watch another drama until KSH came out again! He's much more than a pretty face!
Jenna Kim Hi, I just watched My love from another star last night (started at 6pm, finished the last episode at 3am. I fast forwarded a lot, and sorry since that is your favorite show).
I agree My love from another star is a good show, and it's better than a lot of other overrated shows (a.k.a. Heirs, BOF, Secret garden, City Hunter, Iris, You're beautiful, etc.), but I think there is something missing to make me like it. the acting is good, but maybe I don't really get over those super power/alien in the plot.
and I like Cha Concubine since FO1 (I think he got that name from MC Yoo, no one really used it nowadays but I like that nickname). I don't watch 1N2D a lot, and I enjoyed season 1 more with Na PD (who don't like him?), Eun Ji Won, Lee Seung Gi, Ho Dong, and etc. but I guess once I had good impression, I keep it for long.

love the love lines of hyo jin and soo hyun and tae hyun. this has got to be one of the few korean dramas, where you arent sure who the female lead will end up with. though im leaning more towards hyo jin and soo hyun, i have a feeling the script writers are more into hyo jin and tae hyun!

I started to like Gong Hyo Jin to this drama. And after watching this drama, I watch all of her drama and it’s too many to watch, I found out that she’s a really really good actress. And I don’t doubt that, she’s really amazing in all of her dramas and pretty!
Actually I watch this drama this year 2023, it’s a bit late, it’s been 8years has passed. And I watch this drama because I want to see Kim Soo Hyun and IU’s acting since they are the one who are popular now a days and especially the plot of this drama, my friend also told me tried to watch this. But the one who got my eyes and heart is Gong Hyo Jin amazing act. She captured me. She’s that good!

Only watched because of CTH and GHJ. Love them as actors and persons. The stories were funny at times, too bad the character development was screwed up by the writer regarding RJM and TYJ characters. Wish they got to work tgt in another project. Their acting goes well w each other.

I just saw the first episode, and it was really fun! Too bad they said that it would be ended in 12 episodes. Usually the shortest korean drama have around 17 episodes. So, this is very new.
Anyway, cha te hyun , like what he said in this video, really act like himself. The old woman pd is very feisty, yet it is quite informative that kbs' music bank really disallow see through clothes and she practically have to beg IU to put jacket on it. Well, now we know why some songs like perhaps big bang'S member song like 'that bast*rd' don't air in kbs.
Furthermore, I think there is slight hint about the changing of the 2 days 1 night's member in the past that reemerge in the drama. Hopefully KBS stop their suspension though, to member that deserved it of course.
IU's explanation about her character in the drama puzzle me though. As she said Cindy's character is based by her and her singer friend, yet i couldn't think any singer even by 10 years experience can be that rude to her manager, pd or fans. As far as I know, altough originally you are very famous singer with feisty character yet you still can't be rude in Korea, right?
Kim soo hyun is really taking risk with this drama, yet he looked like enjoying his new role. It is not easy to act foolish all the time with that kind of visual, oh yeah please tell your father in the drama to pronounce 'producer' instead of 'produsa'
