I haven't played this game but at 39:20, I would've picked the bonus card that gave work for each (and any type of) Building over the one that was specifically for Forests, I think, because having a forest that satisfies most of your Profession cards gives less incentive to build more forests whereas by taking at least one builder and lowering the cost for building in the future, it was more likely for you to build more buildings, making that bonus card more valuable.
The so called "game that ruined euro games". Looks pretty fun to me and the presentation is great. Sad to see people complaining about the diverse representation.
CORRECTIONS: 4:41 - Their bid needed to be 300, not 400. 4:59 - The bid was 500 at this point, not 400. 11:28 - The minimum is 7, as shown on the board, not 9.
What's up with this version. Why is it, so many people from Africa and women depicted in a game set in historic time period of Italy about Italian princes? Did they change the theme, they should change the name... People of color in cosplay...
It seems that simple google search reveals that indeed people of color did live in Florence during the time period- but that doesn’t explain why you care so much that black people are depicted in your game. I’d suggest hunting down an old copy to go with your old ways- both match your values. Have a great day!

At around 4:43 Red would bid 300, not 400. Then at 4:54 you say you up the bid to 500 but then Red bids 500

Seems to be a trend in games lately. They want to up their "diversity" and don't care about the integrity of the theme.
