Rainn and John, I am not a late to joining The Office fandom. I watched every episode as they aired. I was super sad when it went off the air. 2014 started my rewatch journey. I lost my son who was born prematurely and I couldn’t get out of bed to even brush my teeth. Music made me sad. TV made me sad. One day I decided to try and rewatch The Office. I knew it was 90% fun. It worked it started to help me move. As long as The Office was playing I could move around and do things around my house. I probably watched it three times from beginning to end, only skipping the final episode. My dad passed away later that same year. I kept my life together because of that show. It may seem stupid to anyone else, but as long as Jim was pranking Dwight everything was okay in the world. The show that you were a part of really helped me and i hope you know all of the joy you put into the world.

I had battled Covid for 6 weeks (still dealing with the complications 7 months later), and The Office was my life support. When I had barely anything to smile or laugh about, The Office filled that void and kept me sane.
I’m glad it helped you in time of need. I was going through a rocky marriage, followed by divorce, and felt so alone. The Office made me smile and gave me peace. I’m so thankful for this show. Much love ❤️

Whenever my wife and I watch something depressing or just unsettling, our antidote to immediately feel better and be able to sleep in peace is to watch an episode of the office.....this is seriously what we do, and it works. If I was a therapist I would prescribe an episode of the office a day.

i have rewatched the office in its entirety 4 times in the past 3 months and that MIGHT just be a problem but it is 100% comfort food for my eyes.

I never watched the show when it originally aired, my wife swore she would never watch it, our teenage son turned us on to it. We watch it day in and day out. We've probably seen the series 7 or 8 times and we still binge watch it. Comedic relief at a time it is SO needed. Thank you!

I binged "The Office" for the first time, starting about 3 weeks ago, and I just finished. I can't explain why it took me so many years to finally watch but, now that I've seen the entire series for the first time, during this pandemic, it couldn't have happened at a better time for me. I needed to see that show, and I just learned that Netflix is going to drop it in 2021, so it was fortuitous in multiple ways.

2020 has been a very difficult year so far for everyone. That said, The Office is helping me through depression and anxiety, I've watched the entire series 2 times now and it feels like home. I see that many many comments say stuff like this so I guess that it's much more common that I thought... I think this is a great thing and Rainn and John (and also obviously everybody on the show) should be very proud. I'd say that if a tv show is so comforting that helps you through the most horrible days, then we can say that it has achieved its purpose. Thank you guys for everything!
I am such a huge The Office groupie, raised my two children the same, although my daughter is no longer with us...this show has gotten me through my darkest days still today, thank you all for doing it . The chemistry was unbelievable and stands the test of time.
My son & I (who is now 5) have watched The Office daily for the last 2 years. It is now a tradition and you are all part of our family in a way.
My husband and I watched the entire series during COVID-19 lockdown. It is true that Pam and Jim were the heart of the show, but often we’d say to each other, I can’t wait to see what’s happening with Dwight. His humanity shined through, despite what he wanted.

I have never watched one episode of the office when it was airing on tv. A few years after all the seasons were aired, i decided to check it out. Ever since then, i have watched it back to back at least a dozen times, it's become my comfort place, my happy place and its always on in the background when i have work to do at home. I can't think of another show i would rather have to accompany me thru my days in the past few years. It will forever have a special place in my heart.
I watch a little bit of the Office every single day. I saw them when the originally aired and continue to today...and have gotten all of my kids into the show and we constantly quote the show around the house.
Rainn's openness and honesty is refreshing. I like being called a human being.

In addition to COVID, I just had my 7th and hopefully final surgery for breast cancer so laughter has been rare for me. I recently binged Parks & Rec, then The Good Place, now I’m binging The Office and it’s filled me with such happy feelings and hope. I’m on Season 4 and I legitimately may have torn some stitches laughing but I’m alright with that. Thank you for being part of the joy and not part of the sadness in this world.

I’ve been a long time fan of the office. Every time I have a manic episode I turn it on and it helps me a lot. It helped me find my sense of humor again and brought light into my life after my grandpa and uncle died very close together. The last 2 weeks have been very hard for my family and I, so this video popping up is helping me smile again. This made me so much more emotional than I expected it to. I don't think I've ever even written a long paragraph as a comment on any UA-cam video EVER..but nothing would delight me more than to express my gratitude. Rainn, if you by chance see this, I think it's important for you to know that this is the first time I'm seeing you in your personhood aside from your character on the office, and just from this 13 and a half minute long video alone, my heart has been filled with so much warmth and hope for humanity. Hearing you speak on gratitude for a few minutes lifted my spirits and lead me to a powerful change in my perspectives. On another note, I'm 19, and for one had no idea you had a teenage son, but I also got so emotional when John was speaking on hoping that my generation has some sort of awareness and recognition of this worldwide experience and allow it call us to step further into our strength, and purpose as human beings. I'll speak briefly on the office because well...you were there LOL, but the heart of the show is certainly what has kept me watching all these years. The character development, the relationships, the lessons, all of it was not only such a genius concept for a sitcom, but also such a powerful opportunity for a massive heartfelt connection that is shared throughout this world. It is such a beautiful thing, and it warms my heart even more to know that there are deeply wonderful people under all of my favorite characters. Thank you so much for Soul Pancake, as someone with a smaller UA-cam channel, I greatly appreciate seeing authentic, consistent and quality work being produced and released. Not only have you had such a wonderful impact on this world already, but you're also choosing to continue to create more beautiful things and I think that that is incredibly life-giving, and extremely admirable. Omg I remember getting that soul pancake book around 2010 or so, and it made me think harder and deeper about life and myself than I ever had before as a teen. It takes me back to a simple time in my life and it was one of the last shows I watched live airings for. You know back when TV was on the actual TV. I am grateful for the life I am living during these awful times. I am also very grateful for "The office": I used to work in an office during the pandemic and now I am working at home since a while. This show cracks me up the whole time , but mostly I am DEEPLY grateful for this because it saved me from burnout I was having for my boss. The Office is so full of charm. Even the characters that had no arch like Creed are so delightful. I love the little character bits like when Dwight got irritated at Meredith as they were secretly plotting a hazing of Holly.

I always underestimated The Office, even having it right in front of me on Netflix. So I decided to find out what it was all about in March of this 2020... Man, I’ve never watched a better show than that. This is my third round watching the entire 9 seasons.
