Kevin, it's nice to see you in action compared to merely talking to you on the phone. You may have answered my concerns about the wave in the floor I've been seeing over the past four floors that I did. I will be taking a look at the upper assembly. Thanks again.
Nice video, That roller assembly looks identical to my Lagler Hummel, ALSO I CANT SEE WHY CLARKE and LAGLER belt sanders can't also be used AS DRUM SANDERS , for emergencies or top roller problems, I think the GALAXY belt sanders can do both. PeaceFromOz😊
Mineral spirits will soften the finish or adhesive, then it can be removed with a sponge. If there is grit imbedded in it can be lightly scraped taking care to not score the surface.
@@MatthewMedeiros-v2u It's best at this point to take it to an American Sanders Authorized Service Center. You can find one nearest to you using the Dealer Locator tool on our website at americansanders.com/resources/dealer-locator Just enter your city or zip code and uncheck everything except the "Service Center" button.

What if there is microfracture grit stuck on roller? How would we go about removing it
So what if the top roller does have some debris/adhesive on it? What’s the best way to clean it? Scrape/ pick it off, sand it off, or use a cleaner ?

What’s the best approach if one of the nuts is stripped and Allen key can not remove it ?
