I’m playing this for my 19 year old cat who will probably pass today. I want her to feel like a kitten again and dream of meeting her friends on the other side.

I grew up with a cat who was older then I was. He was named Mcavity, I still love him so, so much. When I was a baby, he was really protective of me, like he thought I was his kitten or something like that. He would get mad at my parents whenever I cried, like he thought it was their fault.
He curled up and slept right by me every night as a kid, keeping me safe and helping me to sleep..
He passed away about seven or so years ago now; he was old, and passed peacefully, but I still miss him.
This is the best therapy for orphaned kittens, sick kitties, and cats who are stressed.. I have a cat rescue and one is in her final stages. She is snuggling with the phone and this recording for comfort.
Rescued two orphaned kittens, less than 1 week old, and this is playing for them while the sleep in their warm box, bellies full of formula💞

I'm currently helping my kitten. She has a injury, and it's because a horse stepped on one of it's back legs. she was absolutely terrified of everything for a while,she was in shock. so I looked up cat purring and clicked the first one I saw. Its helping. Also she about 3 months. So her bones aren't fully hard, easy to heal. She name is scoundrel, because she loved walking into the face of danger and always attacked her mom. She's doing better.
I am currently listening this while my 2 mouth old fip baby is passing away snuggling me.I hope he finds the peace he needs and deserves finally.
My kitty, Bijoux, was looking around for the huge purring cat. She does not seem to be soothed, more alarmed that there's a new and big cat in the house! LOL! That's my Bijoux, a true tortie with tortietude. :) I use this recording to help me concentrate while writing. Thank you for posting it.
My cat loves this! She seemed a bit neutral if a bathing herself a lil longer than usual. I tried to switch it to something else & she darted over to find the big, purring kitty until I put it back on, then she made biscuits and fell asleep in no time at all.

We play this for our cat when she needs to calm down with us at night. She had a purring toy but the battery died, so this was a happy find. She's a ferocious goblin who also just needs baby time in the evening, and that's okay.

my cat was put down yesterday (Halloween), and i cant get over it. even though her purrbox was broken, the soft purring i heard warmed my heart, and listening to this is the only thing that gets me to sleep
I lost my beloved 16 years old boy cat 2 weeks ago. He was the best cat I'd ever had in my life. The bond with him was beyond this world. It was very special. Listening this brings me so much comfort after crying so much, missing him terribly. This voice sounds exactly like him! ❤️ I can see him through my mind's eyes on the bed next to my head where he always loved to sleep and purr like this, loud and long ❤️
I terribly miss my cats every day, because I'm away from home for work, this video has finally helped me sleep a full night in weeks.

@@onyxgray3477 it's hard. It's been a year for me so far. Only this month has it felt a bit easier to deal with her not being there physically. Best description is that you get used to it but it still doesn't feel right. I'm sorry for your loss 🌈🐾 the purring sounds on UA-cam does help soothe the loneliness. The wave lengths of purring is healing wave lengths too.

I lost my furbaby last year and his purring is one of the sounds the house seems too quiet without. I've seen studies talking about sound waves in the range between 25 to 140Hz helping heal bone, joints & soft tissue damage... domestic cats purr in this frequency range. So we can sleep & hopefully heal as well. 💔🙏🏻😸😴💖
That is definitely right. My wife and I both have health troubles and when either one of us is bad or sad we are comforted by the close attention of our cats.
One was angry and protective of my wife when paramedics attended to her.
Another is asleep on me now at 04.24 purring quietly with her ears pointing towards this sound.

My sweet baby Gibbons died violently and suddenly AT the veterinarians when I was taking him in for a check up... yesterday. Been a pretty awful Christmas so far. The worst part is, when I was sad he knew and he'd cuddle up to me and purr on me just like this. RiP gibbs. I love you and miss you so so much.

This helped my recently adopted kitty cat. Bringing him home was a bit of a shock for him. He was born in a shelter and had never been outside of a cage, or building.
We put him in the living room with his toys and allowed him to get the scents of everyone, and everything in the house. Kind of the story of the house for animals. For the first few days, he was a bit skittish. He wasn’t only confronting freedom for the first time, he was also confronting something else he’d never seen before... a 3 legged tootsie roll chi weenie, named Cricket.
Cricket seems to be an extremely good natured pup. I don’t think she’s ever met a critter she didn’t like. Now she has a pet cat if she can just get close enough to force her will on it. “No worries, I’ll take it from here! Thanks for the pet!” *lick lick, *rrrraaaawwwwllll ssss ssss *poof. “Nope, you need to put that one down dad. He’s crazy! I’m out.”
So, initial introductions went swimmingly lol. From here, we let Charlie (cat) decide his next move. “Meow....meow” seemingly turned into “hello?” We took turns sitting in the living room with him over the next few days, other than when we were sleeping or working. Cricket made several appearances as well.
Finally, I decided this video might get him out of his shell a little. You know... he’d been testing the waters little by little over the course of about 3 days, but just couldn’t bring himself to come all the way in the bedroom. He came meowing about 5 minutes after the lights and noise stopped in the house last night. I turned this video on, he hit the bed got about an hours worth of pets, purred like crazy, and fell asleep on Cricket.
Cricket was as surprised as anyone. She thought the cat got drunk and forgot where he was, and worried he might wake up and spaz out on her again. Eyeballs WIDE! This morning, Charlie is under our feet no matter where we night be headed. He’s all about the attention, and he doesn’t seem to care where he gets it from. He’s even let cricket wash his face a few times. Now she’s ready to start training him lol.

When I was a little girl in the midwesr, we were out in the country,and it would be so hot even at night. The house was way back off the road. My Mom had gozillion cats,house ones,barn cats,cats cats. We had a bed in the front yard. Some nights 2 of us kids would crawl in that nice soft rickety bed. And pull the blanket up and before you know it I felt these furry bodies find places to lay down and they would start purring all of them seranading me. It was and is the most comforting ,warm sound to me. When I listen to the cat purs on here I feel the warmness of heart come back and relax
I play for my animals. I think the dog likes in more. She definitely recognized it as a comfort sound.

Good news, he's alive and well. He's healthy and he's fought through dehydration and a few diseases. He's a healthy and energetic kitty now, both of his eyes have cleared up and he can see now too. :)

I love both cats and dogs. But, cats are the best animal in my opinion. the sound of a purring kitty is very soothing. I can feel my body and soul being healed by this sound, cats are heavenly animals~

My 9 year old longhaired ginger menace and the 9 month old tortie with the ginger stripes are SLIGHTLY less fractious in the 9 hours that I'm away at work....now that I've discovered this! I do believe it keeps them a bit more calm, but they are just saving it up for the rips when I get home😺
