JournalEntry #6 - Mixed media painting fun & Collage in a soul Art Journal!!!

-Let's get into a state of mindfulness and play by painting for our soul. We'll create printed tissue papers for collage onto our Art Journal pages over time...each lesson building our confidence and skills. Have fun with acrylic paint, mixed media techniques and collage to make painting FUN! If you don't think you're an artist but would like to try - this is for you too. Open up to an experience of painting fun and play, with no expectations. This should be a pleasant retreat from your busy life, a time for play and rejuvenation. I find it's better than meditation!
No experience needed, this is just for fun and it's only paper!

don't forget to get a gelli plate! they are soooooo fun!!! you don't need one larger than a sheet of copy paper.....it'll be just fine. best of luck 🙂

Hi I'm loving your videos atm. I have only just discovered you do you use wet strength tissue or any tissue. I'm having a particularly hard time as I lost my hubby 2 weeks ago today and my dad had his last rites today. I'm also suffering from covid and have been unable to create for several weeks. Thanks so much for sharing your process. I look forward to eventually playing with my gel plates and art journal much love and support xxx❤

I do not enjoy wet-strength tissue for my techniques...I use cheap dollar store tissues. I tried acid-free tissue and found it way too wax-like
