After taking off nail polish, wash hands, dry, go to kitchen, rub cooking oil on each nail,.your nails will love you. Let oil soak in. Nail polish drys out nails. I have very nice natural nails. Don't wash oil off! I do this every time , love my long nails!
@@francesfehrman741 I do with coconut oil and castor oil every time I wash dishes or just wash my hands then I rub coconut oil or castor oil on my hands and nails several times a day. My nails are rock hard and my hands are soft.

I have always had thin nails & I find that applying Perfect Formula Pink Gel Coat helps greatly. Will brighten your nails & not turn them yellow. It can be found on QVC & some vendors on eBay also carry it. Perfect Formula also makes the best glass files. Try to file in one direction only, not back & forth. .I also have been drinking Bolthouse Farms 100% Carrot Juice found at Walmart in the Produce refrigerator section. Your nail is mostly made up of Keratin so if you follow those two things you won’t go wrong. Plus, whenever I wash my face or bathe, I will wear playtex rubber gloves. Water is an enemy of nails & makes them soft & start to peel. Try to only get hands wet when washing them. I know that sounds weird, but it works.
I had real problem nails my whole life I tired this and my nails had improved a lot and I will continue this procedure and I do recommend this whole heartedly thank you

I can’t wait to try your suggestion of LA Girls nail products. I have an amazing moisturizing oil that I made, so I’ll keep using that. I’m recovering from Acrylics. I also suggest a good multivitamin daily, as my Nutritionist recommended.
I found you looking for nail strengthener reviews (my nails are great if I let them be natural, but as soon as I polish & use remover no matter what kind they start peeling & chipping). Always love to find cruelty free beauty channels!
I neglected my hands and nails most of my life. Harsh hand soaps at work, no gloves doing dishes or when using cleaning chemicals. I rarely made time to put on sunscreen and I bit my nails until a few years ago. Got divorced so the stress is less. Anyway, I have very dry nails. Some of them have ridges I cannot get rid of and thy break but instead of across they do so from tip toward cuticle. This is the best nail video I have seen that covered everything. Thank you. As for anyone reading this, do yourself a favor, use sunscreen, moisturize, don't bite your nails, take vitamin D and biotin and wear gloves when using any chemical.
I stumbled across your channel while watching another one of my favorite nail channels. I’m not a fan of strengtheners either. They made my nails brittle for the most part. I am 72 yes old. I have been trying to grow nails for years, using different products. My nails are soft and soon as they grow a little they break off. Can you tell me what to use to help them grow and not break?
Beautiful nail’s! Because of my job I kept mine short for many years, but I decided to go for it again and let them grow. Since I am older I take hair & nail supplements and I added collagen as well. The collagen really boosted the natural strength of my nails. I’m not a fan of polish as I am hyper sensitive to chemicals. If anyone has suggestions please let me know and I will consider them!

These a awesome tips. I will be purchasing the base coats for sure! I make my own oil blend for my nails. But everything else I currently have bc I got nail damage after removing gel nails 3 weeks ago at the nail salon. The tech filed my nail down to the skin and I was bleeding. My nail is now healing but the damage nail is now lifting off the nail bed. I refuse to do them again. Zoya nail polish remover is amazing! Had no idea they sold it in a large bottle. Getting that too lol 😆
There is a really great thing to make your nails harder you just get a cheap bottle of base coat and put some garlic in it I put a clove or 2 and let it set for a few days then I put it on my nails does not smell like garlic after it dries and when I ruined my nails from over 20 years of fake nails within 30 days my nails were very strong and I use it about once a week now keeps my nails strong
Heya! Not sure if anyone is going to come across this comment but I'd definitely love to start taking more care of my nails. I don't use nail polish, is the base coat necessary? And if I use the calcium nail builder, do I still add a base coat after using a calcium builder? Thanks :D
Base coat is necessary for helping the nail polish colour stick to your mails and stop most of the yellowing and staining from coloured nail polish (even some nudes can stain nails).
Does the gel break trio add strength/hardness to the nail like gel? My nails are so thin I can’t get them to grow beyond the end of the nail bed. I need something to add strength.
My nails were so thin and would break easily. Try all the products she recommends, this might work for you. Remember that you just have to find something that works for you. I think that my nails were so dry and that was the reason they kept on breaking. Calcium will strengthen them and the hydrating coat will keep them hydrated. I hope this works for you.
When you wash dishes all the time and clean they take a beating I will also wear dish gloves from now on in this upcoming winter season they wear out from this badly...

Great tips, I use very similar products :)
I can’t find LA Girl Hydrating Base Coat anywhere not even on Amazon. I found the Calcium Nail Builder but not the LA Girl Hydrating Base Coat. Any suggestions where I can find this product online?
Hi' can you please the name of nail remover
Very helpful video 🙌🏽 Also the word is pronounced “coo-chee-o” 😊
I love your nails 😍
How often n what time we should use them ^_^
How do you apply the calcium. Under the base coat?
Yes I do the calcium nail strengthener first, let it dry. Then apply base coat, color, top coat
Do you put the oil on top of the base coat or before you apply the base coat?
Oil after remover of polish. Wash hands, dry, massage oil into nail. Let it soak into nails. Don't wash off.
Before base coat
Yes more nail videos 🙂
Luv your nails ❣️
Where did you purchase the hydrating base coat?
From the LA Girl website. All products are linked in the description box!
@@SMARTERBEAUTY thank you
Where do you buy the Zoya polish remover, it would be a great help if that info was included 👍
M Guerra amazon
It’s linked
Thank you!!
I had the glass one and this is about two and a half years ago and it I dropped it and it broke so that's the downside or about that it was pretty it was nice but that's the downside at least the other the finger file has been around for many years thank God 🙏 and I know plenty of women have grown their own nails and have used that and always kept healthy polish on them and their their nails grow they wasn't chip crack broken or anything but yeah those are nice it's just if you accidentally drop it or if you have to travel with it
How often do you use that product? And if you pass it on your nails even if you have nails polish? (The calcium).
I don't use it anymore but I would always apply it whenever I do a fresh manicure so once per week! And apply before nail color.
@@SMARTERBEAUTY ty, so much!!!!
