Your video really captures the essence of the Haute Route perfectly! The scenery is absolutely stunning.. those mountain views and the tranquil Lac Bleu are just breathtaking. Great work on showcasing such a beautiful part of the trail! 🏔✨
@@TalesFromAbroad-SJ Thanks Simon! The weather did take a better turn after this, it can be very changeable when you spend some time in the Alps as you know! ATB, Sue
Hats off to you all Sue - that's you, Dave and Graham that's had some health challenge or another. I'd say you're troopers rather than dancers. Ha ha! Awesome views out there. Good going. Mark
Hi there Mark, always lovely to hear from you 🤗 Thankfully we didn’t pass it on to Graham & he was fit as a flea by the time we finished! Though Dave & I both lost a shocking amount of weight. The whole thing was a memorable & treasured experience, when we’re back home we just want to do it all over again 🥹 I hope you’re enjoying the lovely autumn we’re having. Peace! ✌️P.S what was wrong with my Pas de chat?! 🤣😉
@@FIVE-FOOTLyth Hey, good to hear about Graham and the experience overall. Good for weight loss as well as memories then. Yes, Autumn is awesome. Ha, a bit wobbly.
Glad to see your back eating, 🤢 Sue. But keep up with the ballet dancing, it can only get better 😀 Great scenery with relentless climbs, which you love, really 👍 And it started raining 🌧 again.
@@catchyoulater.5836 Hi Mick! Yeah, the ballet… I nearly didn’t include it but it made me laugh as I was editing it, so… just a bit of buffoonery 🤣 I was made to go to ballet lessons for about 10 years but never got any more elegant 😂 I was quite good at tap dancing though. Don’t worry, I won’t go there 😉
Some weather you had in this one and a wee bit to much rain 😢mind the Alps when I cleared looked amazing Sue 🏔️👍🤠 Shame Dave came down with something unpleasant towards the end Looking forward to the nxt section 👌🏻 ATB Simon
Thanks Simon 🤗 The weather is always changeable in the Alps, as you know. We had more warm sunshine after those few storms. It’s a beautiful route, the only small spoiler was the industry around the ski areas. It’s an increasingly developing area, I guess there must be a lot of money in it, but in Summer a lot of building work going on
Just been binge watching your last videos - that is some trip you've been on. Just got over you being ill on the last part of this trip and now we have to worry about Dave. 🤣
@@thewanderingforester Hi Roger! Good to hear from you 🙂 It was pretty eventful, but I think on balance if we’re going to be ill at least the scenery was beautiful and better than being at home in bed 😉
@@lifesahobby Hi Owen, I saw the comments about you being ill, hope you’re back up & running well. It’s rubbish when you’re feeling sick, but looking back we all still enjoyed it despite the challenges. Adios! 😁
Wonderful alpine scenery Sue and some fantastic 'surprise' views when you crested those cols. It must have been so disheartening to get sick in such amazing surroundings but glad you both recovered to enjoy the rest of the route. Keep me posted on Dave's recovery and your plans for Jan/Feb. TTFN Ian and Meg 🙋♂🐶
Hi Ian! It was a bit of a struggle for a few days but still thoroughly enjoyed the route 🙂Maybe we should all get out into wild places when we’re sick, since it helps mind and body! Dave is using both walking poles again but exerting no pressure on them. It might be a couple of months before he can start building the muscle again, but we’re both chirpy. Enjoy your winter, both of you. It’s even snowing here now, the snowshoes will be out soon 😃😃
@@DAoutdoors Hi Dave! Thankfully we both recovered after a few days, and it didn’t spoil the scenery! The whole area is so spectacular, I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat ❤️
Dave you do a great job on the pickup when the illness kicked about . ❤
Hi guys I've been away for a week. Playing catch-up on my commitments.
Beautiful and dramatic .
Lovely dancing ❤, hilarious.

10 years, never knew that. No wonder you were alway better than I, when climbing up those walls. You were far too flexible and nimble.
@ I think it’s the double joints rather than skill Mick 😉 I was thinking about the climbing wall days only yesterday.
Great video and scenery 🙂👍
