This year's grand marshals include Amber Ferrer, a community advocate, and Billy Green, the 2023 New York State Teacher of the Year.
The New Queens Pride Parade is the second oldest and second largest pride parade in New York City.

There was hardly anyone there compared to past yrs. It's declined since 2015. Before it used to be so crowded you couldn't even walk on the sidewalks. Now there's only 2 or 3 ppl on each block. Mind you I've lived here since 1997

Jackson Hts, Queens has one of the biggest Pride Parades in the nation.
Of course, it doesn’t compare to the one in Manhattan, NY, where it’s humongous.
The weather was perfect for this year’s Queens Pride Parade. The turnout was impressive, with many more marchers, politicians and bands.

@@Cristian7105g In my time back in the Mad Men era of the 1960s in my old hometown of NYC when I was a boy, there were no parades celebrating sexuality of any type. We honored historical events and important people in American and New York City history. My old hometown of NYC and America were normal. By the way at heart I am a Nationalist. And I am a naturalized American citizen who was born in a foreign country in 1956 and have been in America since August 2, 1956.
