Love the CoolStuffInc vids. Only point of feedback is that I wish these videos had the same section demarcations that Jims own videos have so we can jump to matches or whatever else if we want to do that
Feels like even a single restless prairie or other manland (or more) could give you a better fighting chance in the scrappy interaction matchups, especially with the land tutor
Bought four Konas on DSK release day and haven't been excited enough about any decks built around the card to actually use them - till today. Thanks Jim!
1 copy of omniscience will guarantee it to be in opening hand, clever deckbuilding ngl
Oh man this is going to be good. Thanks Jim!
By god, that's Jim Davis
The decklist on the CoolStufInc article is missing the 3 Scene of the Crimes, just FYI
not sure why wotc allowed curiosity to be as strong as it is when they gave the once per turn nerf to innocence
Would Tyvar's Stand be worse than Royal Treatment or Snakeskin Veil? In a big rampy deck it will sometimes give you a win or it could give you a ton of life. Enables late game attacks with Llanowar Elves. It can also shut down an attack from aggro decks or from Glissa. Indestructible is a nice bonus.
Indestructible is so much worse than hexproof tho.
@@rekenner I'll let you re-read Tyvar's Stand lol
13:20 not often you see an atraxa get you seven cards
49:00 ish
Since caravan isn’t attacking, you should wait til the very end of combat to crew with Kona. Didn’t matter here though
Minute 45 you had the mana and colours for atraxa when they were tapped out ><
Nice "shut up ad take my wildcards " brew
fun deck to play
JimD strikes again
Is it an unwritten rule when you play control or blue you take as long as possible to make a play even when the play is easy and obvious?
Wow no smuggler's surprise in your Kona Surprise list, I can't believe you, Jim. /s
Isn't the green Enduring creature strictly better than the Caravan in this deck?
The caravan let you tap kona turn 4
@axelgaticaehrenfreund2479 The green Enduring too, and you get an extra mana... my point.
@@LaurentCassaro kona can’t tap right away for mana due to summoning sickness
@@axelgaticaehrenfreund2479 Oh, right, forgot that "detail"
😅
game 2 match 1, I think it would have been better to just bite the untap otter with archdruids charm and atraxa rather than exile the deer, would have gained a bunch of life and removed a combo piece rather than just remove a combo piece
I already saw this version of otters
And oh lord
This is a hella bad player with the deck
Maybe he is learning still
The amount of missed lethals by that otter player… you definitely should have killed his enduring vitality with vivian game 2 to prevent the combo kill.
Numero uno ;)
!
Not me yelling “horror” when Jim plays cavern on avatar on Angel because both overlord and Atraxa are horrors lmfao
The standard legal atraxa is only a physician angel. It doesn't have the Horror type that the 4 cmc one has
