Thanks for getting me over the hump, sir. I was stuck bouncing between Diamond 1 and 2 for 3 days and switching to this deck made all the difference. I can only imagine the look of sadness on my boss fight opponent's face when he duress'd me with a visible Raise the Past only to see a second one in my hand (not to mention the third one visible on top of my deck thanks to Amalia). He had no chance.
I was there :P. It was a fun day. (I still think the version with blue is more fun as you are more consistent in the pew pew plan even though it does drop trying to do anything else than pew pew. But I just love the pew pew) As for those who want to play this deck, it's secret stregth lies in how much we can scry/explore which allows to smooth gameplay a lot (as in we have a lot of control on what we draw we have less games were we only have lands or no lands etc) but usually we bin all that is not raise/dewdrop
Do you have any suggestions for blue cards to use? I currently use mono white lifegain but the reanimator route has been growing on me... I'm already running Uneaten Feast and Sun Blessed Healer but I feel like I'm missing out on consistency from card draw
@@wbehri so the blue route uses falahji archaeologist as a way to mill and get raise the past/dewdrop/talent (also a 2 drop so you reanimate it as well to search even deeper) and gossip talent which is basically extra gorehounds (surveil each time a creature etbs) which allows to dump even more to the graveyard and search for those raise the past. The game loop quickly turns into dewdrops/raise the past every turn (evern with 3/4 creatures if you get 8 or so surveil/explore you will dump every creature and will likely find another reanimator spell). I didn't play either feast or delney or even sunbless healer because they can't be reanimated by dewdrop/raise or for the healer wont do anything when reanimated. It's really focused around "dump everything and keep reanimating" loop
@@pejman3 I've played a few games and I really like how Fallaji progresses the game plan with mill and spell draw. Honestly the whole surveil mechanic makes the deck feel much more consistent... My only problem comes from not having any of the dual lands you use but there are no complaints otherwise. It feels similar to a white/black lifegain counters/otk deck I made but this one is actually good 😂 I appreciate your help
Ah I wanted to add that at 35:05 while they did see it on top for some time (when you first revealed it with explore), after surveiling and keeping it hides the card back xD so if they didn't pay attention while you were going off they might have missed it
Unfortunately, Arena decided it hates my deck as it does. Just went like 0-12. Every hand my opponents went first and drew the best possible hand for their deck (and that perfectly offset my own) and I drew unplayable hands. 90% of the hound triggers would be lands even if it was like 20 in a row.
I love this deck, lots of fun, it's as atrocious for the opponent as the one you presented two months ago: the fantastic deck banned turn 2 win, kiss from Bretagne, nerzh e Breizh
I am sure you have thought of this but what about running a couple-few wraths (Day of judgment) in the deck? Helps to wipe your board and theirs thoughts?
Crazy how you can throw so many board wipes in a deck. I wish you had to build a deck with a reasonable curve in magic and not just rely on board wipes
Great deck Malone, I will try this one verbatim as I'm sick of stupid match ups that always work against my deck. when will wizards believe that the shuffler is rubbish. Hope you are right cos I'm using my last wild cards.
I don't know how anyone can have white mana and not play sheltered by ghosts. I had to add it. Its a really fun deck though, especially if they don't just quit right away! Nice Metallica Tshirt
What did you remove to add the sheltered? I think the deck would definitely benefit from it, but I don't feel good about removing any of the pay off creatures
@@bobbywhite1645 I think it would work OK but it’s not really necessary. The deck just wants to gain enough life to sustain you until you have used surveil to fill up the graveyard and then dump everything into play for a win. The bats remove any major threats before they ETB and deny any board wipes if required excluding a top deck draw.
@@Zetsumari I think it’s the two colours. You can get away with 18 in mono red but you are going to want at least 3 lands without missing land drops early or you may get stuck with only half your hand being playable.
@@Zetsumari Amalia would require you to already have WB. The ruin lurker bat requires you to descend to scry, which typically requires that you have the hound. I wouldn’t call it a problem but I’m not sure reducing the lands would benefit in the long run. Without being able to see the hand rigging calculations that Arena uses, it would be difficult to confirm one way or the other. From what I have experienced, Arena has an extremely high (impossibly high) tendency to give you all Plains and Black or Gold cards or all Swamps and White or Gold cards.
The temporary lockdowns are coming back because of all the cat, goblin, and elf decks that are piling up. They hit so many things now. And those stupid doppleganger tokens.
Ever since Thanksgiving morning ive had the worst luck with Arena. Tried so many decks including this one today and best i can manage is 35% winrate. Shuffler and matchmaker is out to get me. Only deck ive had success with is my superfeiend decks with mostly planeswalkers. Not that the marchmaker and shuffler doesnt screw those over, but the meta doesnt include answers to multiple planeswalkers every turn so nothing it can do aside from flooding me out or mana screwing me but thanks to handsmoothing im guaranteed to hit 3 lands at least and thats all it needs to start going
@@railander Malone has to say something like hahaha I deserve to draw lands because I surveil creatures to the grave. You can't keep saying: why so many lands? It would be absurd luck not to draw so many lands
@@DaniloLiradeLima no, he didn't deserve to draw lands, in fact the probability of NOT drawing lands were higher in a 22 land deck. But if you think he shouldn't complain, that's ok, it's your opinion.

*Cathar Commando* does the job, & costed at 1W, comes back w/ everything the deck has!

I've just been waiting for a deck like this XD
All these reanimator decks made me main deck rest in peace. Allowed me to climb to mythic with monowhite control.
Mind me asking what kinda monowhite control list you are running? Any use of Felidar Retreat?
@ no. I think felidar retreat is too slow without fetch lands.
yeah, one sunfall and these decks are done

Bartolome del Presidio is also very good in this deck if you don't want to spend rares on Amalia.
When algorithm wants you to lose, you get lands.
Wispdrinker Vampire is an idea but is likely too slow, same with Sun Blessed Healer which is worser extraction specialist

this life gain meta is the reason I crafted 4 screaming nemisis. Pair it with a graveyard hate of your choice and 70% of decks just give up
Similar to my hare deck except with Bart and the 2 mana vampire.
I don’t know how people can’t hit mythic. I do it like every month with all kinds of decks. It’s staying in the top 1% that’s tough.
I just destroyed this deck with some removal + sunfall just after the group reanimation
My hugest mistake ever in my life was getting married at 18 but I think yours was worse. 😂😂😂
Hello i'm an algorythm pushing... tommy gun? ... And i'm making the algorythm go ratatatatata!
Who gave him the deck?
Well I've got to platinum with this deck so I'll have to see if I can get to Diamond for the first time ever.
