I had the pleasure of sitting down with @KristiMartin (at Lukas's house) to talk about her initial few months in Taiwan, why she decided to come here to teach, and what's next for her channel. Go check out her awesome videos!

Yes! kindergarten to 2nd grade kids are the cutest 🥰
I am going to fly to Orlando the day after tomorrow to visit DW, so I checked the most recent Covid cases in Orange County ： average 202 cases daily…. Ok…. Not too too bad. (While there is 0 case in Taiwan with 23.8 million people! You are really safe there. Just watch out for the traffic.)

I think now you're on the flight back to Canada(or you have been headed Canada and under quarantine...). Well, you should do that because It has been a long time that you haven't been at home. Your family miss you so much and you also miss them. This week belongs to Christmas holidays and now you can stay with them then enjoy the happiness with family. Here I want to say happy Christmas to Wes. Don't forget to take the film and introduct your hometown as well as your family too. Don't forget that Taiwan is always being here and waiting for you to visit again.

聽說你想家要回加拿大了？我非常可以理解,我從13歲移居阿根廷致今26年，回去過台灣一次，也一直想台灣，但久了就會有歸屬感，把阿根廷當第二個家。
離開台灣18年後我第一次回台灣時超感動，一趟時光之旅，13歲前的種種童年回憶一一勾起，也把所有認識地方都走一遍，
一個月後開始想家，阿根廷那個家，因為住久了會有感情，土地認同感是慢慢的，只要愛台灣這片土地，無論身在任處都以台灣為榮。
因為衛斯理，我訂閱了kristi😉

請帶他嚐台灣美食，因為不熟跟剛來台灣，又中文不流利看他都是吃麵包類跟咖啡

4. The weather is very warm

7. Freedom and democracy

9. Beautiful beaches
10. Many department stores, a shopping paradise
11. You don’t have to drive a long distance to enjoy the beautiful mountains and beaches.
12. Taiwan is a very important friend of the United States and Japan.

Great Interview, for me at the MTC way back in 1990-93 I happen to be very tall, and the textbook had the word for tall in the first chapter... so, you know that tendency to think others are talking about you? well, in my case sometimes they were- but hey, I get the same anywhere, Hen Gao! Jia Yo! the learning journey never stops. Now, I teach 13th and 14th grade at South Texas College. Enjoy!
