We're from Dubai and have been to Patong, Phuket and Phi Phi island last month for 10days, our stay was very awesome and so relaxing. Thai people were very kind and hospitable, never experience to be scammed by them. Arsen is right, try to negotiate(bargain) for prices or fares. Explore the island and enjoy! Looking forward to visit Thailand again by next year.. Khop khun kha!

For Everyone's Information: Transportation in Patong has two standard prices - it amazes me most people have no idea of this - a Tuk Tuk is 200 baht to anywhere in Patong whether 300 metres or 3 kilometers...and a motorcycle taxi is 50 baht whether 300 metres or 3 kilometers...I always jump in(never discuss) and pay on leaving and have never had an issue - never - very simple and straight forward!! Thanks for the vlog and hopefully this helps some of your viewers🙏

Hey arsen , great advice as always, I have transited in Phuket 20 years ago , but have never come back , the scenery away from the island looks amazing , but sadly, it just looks like a tourist trap , a very expensive version of pattaya , may be I will come and stay at one of the islands near by for a few days , maybe phi phi , thanks again arsen 🙏

Starting Friday, you can now use Grab ride share for pickup at Phuket airport so there is (finally!) another way to get to your hotel.

I was there in Phuket on one of the cruise stops, and we used Grab so much cheaper than taxi
😅wasn’t there for two decades or more, maybe next year, who knows, it’s a nice island but expensive as you mentioned, see you😊✌🏼 and stay safe 🙏🏼🇹🇭

Remember that a good price for a taxy from airport to patong is 700 bath...and that there are 2 roads to get there, the curvy beach road and the straight phuket town road: choose wisely 😂
Remember also if you rent a motorbike to have an international driving licence and wear the helmet...police love to fine you 😅
Don't remain only on your beach, there are many amazing beach to discover...❤
Don't eat shellfish or fish on patong beach road, too much expensive...check parallel roads 😊
Remain with the curiosity to know what is the "ping pong show" 😂😂

How can i say that: put patong on booking and agoda and sort it by price.
Try a central road but the more you go far from the sea the more you save (put the dates and check the map inside the app)
If you think you can rent a bike (more or less 250 bath/day € 6,5) you can move easly.

I need some information guys.. Am coming to Thailand on 16june but I want to visit Phuket.. Can I buy the tickets directly to the airport BKK? And how much should be the kg of the small suitcase?
You missing important information. You can get relatively cheap transport via grab or bolt. I just took a moto taxi via grab the other night.
Wow i also stayed in sleep with me hotel, the same you. hotel is in good location and center but its little far from sea. I dont like patong's shape if you stay inside side, cuz there are only 2 main streets to reach to sea, not the same pattaya. You should walk more..

There's a grab outside it's like Uber thank me later I bought a bus ticket but I wasn't gonna wait an hr to get a ride to my hotel .go outside then go to the right it's a green little casita .lol but grab is the way

I agree to bargain just if they ask way too much. Now for few dollars or euro… im never gonna bargain in a Country like Thailand. You go in your Balmain t-shirt and Hermes hat to bargain with simple workers who try to make few bucks… stay home if you are that poor. You pay at leat 3k to be there and bargain on dollars is so absurd …

Why do people say phuket is expensive coming over from the uk i find it much cheaper then if you book to go to Spain the only thing i find expensive about Thailand is getting there once you get there its the best holiday you will ever go on am only back from patong in April and have already booked to go back next march the flights are really cheap to got a flight from phuket to Bangkok for £42 return and remember they are over 500 miles apart from each other so people think about it
It's expensive compared to other provinces of Bangkok, we can't compare Phuket to Las Vegas for example

Yes rent a bike, and get targeted by the Thai police and roll the dice that drivers around aren't drunk . I think not, I drive anywhere in Thailand but never in Patong. Use your better judgement.
