Definitely feel the same. Especially with the mods that will become more popular, shell swapping, OLED screen, Hall Effect joysticks, small factor. This I feel will be the DS Lite in the next coming years. with software mods too will explode in popularity later on 100%
The good thing is that now with a mod you can have OLED screen even on the lite (if you haven’t check it out, see for Taki Udon channel) But also I agree, my mind changed after I took the lite to a trip. It felt like my 3DS XL all over again
That’s completely fine because before I bought the Switch lite for me it was the 3ds XL, I still get the 3ds everywhere with me. I have it modded as well. I made a video about 3ds couple of months ago
I absolutely love the Lite. Did you grab the Hyrule Edition Switch Lite? My only gripe will always be that it can't be docked. It'd be cool if that was a thing.
I consider on trading one of my other switches for it. You can check on Taki Udon channel he is making a mod for the Switch Lite to have OLED screen and HDMI output
Hi buddy. Nice vid I'm thinking of getting one but i just want to know if the screen size makes it so annoying to play i mean is it that small that feels unplayable? Or it's just more than fine?
If anything the screen size is idea for the resolution of the switch. I played games like Xenoblade that you zoom out a lot the camera and had no issues. The only thing I would suggest is getting something for more grip if you play action games a lot
I love it, punches above it's weight. But the sticks still suck and tend to die. I think a Switch 2 Lite could really be the ultimate, especially if it comes with battery improvements over the original again.
I changed the sticks to ball effect ones the moment I got it. I know not everyone can do that, but when you have it and with thumb grips on, feels way better than the stick
I do have the steamdeck oled, and the ROG Ally, honestly it has a lot of conveniences that for me the switch lite feels better for the way I use them. I still use my SteamDeck every day
@@MadaoAU It's not just party games, some Nintendo games like Paper Mario and Luigi Mansion use it as part of their gameplay. In fact the very first Luigi Mansion on Gamecube already uses rumble to sense ghosts near to you.
I think it will be looked back on more fondly than it does now.

Just ordered blue switch lite + TOTK! Wanted a cheaper way to play some Nintendo games even though I already have staem deck
I feel that, did it myself. TOTK looks amazing on the lite, I played a lot that game there
The Switch Lite is great. I must admit the OLED is better in potable mode, but for taking it on trips, the Lite can't be beat.

amazing video. i love your collection in the background
Would you be interested to watch the collection in a video ?
@@MadaoAU I agree with @TeriyakiDior and would definitely love to see your collection and hear about your opinion on those games!
@@uwemeyer9449sounds good since people are interested that’s the next video
I'm sorry but disagree. 3DS is better. the size is perfect, not too big. it had more customize features like mp3 player and home screen customize.
That’s completely fine because before I bought the Switch lite for me it was the 3ds XL, I still get the 3ds everywhere with me. I have it modded as well. I made a video about 3ds couple of months ago
Good video my friend. I just got the switch lite and bought the new Zelda game. Cant wait for the next Nintendo console.
Fantastic purchase mate, Echoes of Wisdom is Fantastic. Can’t wait for the new console as well !

They need to make the light model 2 with the ability to dock to the TV
I really hope so too. That would be great, it is the only weakness
Great video. I too love the Switch Lite. Such a great form factor. Would love to see a video of the games you got.
Great I will be making one for the latest hauls I got or maybe even the entire library

@@MadaoAU might have to consider that, recallibrating has worked so far until they start to drift again. Won't be long until I'll have to.
modifications will be really fun part, I have in my bucket list OLED screen mod as well

hope you enjoyed :D
Your accent is so Greek, ill be really surprised if you aren't lol
Yes I am lmao, moved to Australia 5 years ago.
Not really.... some games required HD Rumble for the gameplay - and it's missing from the Lite.
I don't like rumble, so for me that always have it off I don't mind. But any of the games I played don't require you to have rumble on.

you're phone with a pad can play more.
I don’t use my phone for games but if you do it’s cool
