GRAND BEATBOX BATTLE 2025: WORLD LEAGUE - WILDCARDS ANNOUNCEMENT - much love to @ScottJacksonBeatbox our amazing host for all the years announcing the wildcard contest for the first time.

Here is a general overview for you to keep in mind:
👤 SOLO CATEGORY
• Wildcards are open until March 22nd March
• Judges ➡️ D-low, Trung Bao, FootboxG
• 5 or 6 Wildcards will be given away (to be declared before results)
• Results announcement: 16th April
🎧 LOOPSTATION CATEGORY
• Wildcards are open until March 22nd March
• Judges ➡️ BreZ, Kristóf & Frosty
• 5 Wildcards will be given away
• Results announcement: 19th April
👥 TAG TEAM CATEGORY
• Wildcards are open until 5th April
• Judges ➡️ D-low, Colaps & Yamori
• 5 Wildcards will be given away
• Results announcement: 24th April
🔊 PRODUCER CATEGORY
• Wildcards are open until March 29th March
• Judges ➡️ Inkie, Kristóf & KBA
• 2 Wildcards will be given away
• Results announcement: 22nd April
👥👥 CREW CATEGORY
• Wildcards are open until 5th April
• Judges ➡️ D-low, ristóf & Zhang Ze
• 2 Wildcards will be given away
• Results announcement: 26th April
📌 From Octboer 31st - November 3rd
GBB25 will be taking place at EX-Theathere, Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan 🔶
💨 Seven to Smoke on the 3rd as a separately treated event.

@ yo you’re right. What the hell are they doing with producer this year?! This is so dumb. First it was producer category with 6 artists, then they moved it down to 4 and added battles, and now it’s 2 spots ONLY. Like what the hell? That’s so dumb, and why doesn’t Antrix get a placement, he got 2nd last year. They always give placements to whoever got first and second the year before for every other catagory. This is so dumb. Producer was literally the best catagory in 2024 and they’re cutting it in half

3rd time in japan is a huge let down for every fan who doesnt have unlimited amounts of spare money, japan is straight out at least twice as much as any eu land, and thats only the flight... Is there an official reasoning behind it that japan gets the special treatment?
