I'm starting to do the instrument tracking and mixing more professional rather then just slapping them together like many of them I did. I'd like to keep making them most memorable even though they are oldies because no one is going to make songs like this again. I'd sure be shocked if that would happen. Kenn
@@cinematic35 Kenn, DO NOT SELL YOURSELF SHORT!!!! ALL of the enhancements that You have created have enriched the original performances and added so much more clarity and depth and sonic resolution to them!!!! There is no such thing as total "perfection" in life Kenn, but to strive for perfection is a wonderful goal, and You have already ACCOMPLISHED so much and done so much GOOD!!!! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR HUNDREDS OF SUCCESSES Kenn!!!!
I tie this one to my first true love .. and the subsequent break up , which eventually lead me to a breakdown...... I mostly recovered, but my heart still aches for these moments again
A realllllly good sentimental and melancholy song. My favourite slow song of all time to sing. When I sing it I get the weirdestly most satisfying feeling. I can't really explain this feeling, but it is very cool! Try it.
Glad you like it!I'm getting there with the right sound if I don't slap it together like many others I have done. It's worth it taking the extra time and not rushing it. One thing I've discovered by accident that helps in the enhancing of an artist is to quit after about 5 hours and go do something else and come back later that day and listen to what I've recorded. When I'm on top of a song playing it back and forth several hundred times I can't hear anything after a while. Headphones off and I got to take a break so I can critically examine if it was done right or not. My dad use to say to me when I was boy "Ken do it right or don't do it at all" Kenn
Hey Kenn, It's been a long time since I wrote to you. Been in the hospital for the better part of a month, surgery and a serious infection. Doing alot better now and I am glad you have been busy, I have a lot to catch up on. I did miss my computer while I was laid up, now I have 6 weeks of antibiotics to pump into myself. I do agree that these are nice songs and no one will ever record anything as classy like this again. Talk to you later my friend.......Semper Fi.........Tim.
Hi Tim. It's good to hear you and that you are doing better. You must have has a nasty infection. Some other good things you can take to kill off an infection are colloidal silver, grape seed extract/grapefruit see extract, bee propolis. Did you know that grape seed extract kills colon cancer cells and leukemia cells? Dr Mark Stengler, N.D. says that there are 150 active compounds in propolis. Bees use it in their colony to prevent disease by inhibiting the growth of microbes (bacteria, virus & fungi). As bees enter and exit the hive, they brush against the propolis which acts like a instant DECONTAMINANT. Everything inside and outside the hive (including the interior cells where the queen lays her eggs) is covered with a thin coating of propolis. It is one of the most powerful topical antimicrobal agents human can use. You can buy it a whole bottle at any health food, vitamin/supplement store or online. Kenn
@@cinematic35 Thanks for the info kenn, I wish I would have known these things a year ago. Maybe I would still have my toes. Imagine a right handed drummer with no toes on his right foot. Well it could always be worse, it could have been the leg. Or if the VA would have put me on a antibiotic regiment after the first surgery. I guess we will never know. Thanks again......Semper Fi....Tim.

I Could Never Lie To You + I Will Always Think About You with both songs featuring Ron Rice as lead vocal. The late Les Kummel was the drummer on all 3 songs as well.
Ronnie Rice still plays and sings around Chicago & suburbs. My sons are part of his "road crew". . .
This song never gets old
A true classic.✔
Oh, no. This song rips my heart out. I wish I wouldn't have stopped to listen. This really did a job on me.
You and me both! Such a beautiful emotional song and the background strings, piano and oboe bring tears and memories from my teens in the 60s.
I love to remember and dream about sweet love.
Love the few years of "Baroque Pop" in the late 60s. The strings, horns and harmonies are so good. This is one of my favorites.
Kenn, this song has haunted me for so long. THANK YOU for enhancing it. You are giving so many people a joy that they would otherwise not experience.

Nice job, Kenn. Worth picking up a hits collection by The New Colony Six. This group should have made it bigger than they did. Ed
