Wholesome? Yes, seeing John and Amanda as regular people is actually refreshing. Satisfying? (Spoiler) HELL NO MAN! I wanted Cecilia to have the slowest and most atrocious death in the whole franchise, but instead, she survived?! I'm just saying, she better die in the next movie, because there's no way they'd let the most evil character survive like that.
I loved that as soon as the theme kicked in, the audience all reacted. Was awesome. Bonus Points to the few people that reacted when they heard the "detective" get referenced before his voice and his appearance in the mid credits. That got ME hyped.

Hoffman's appearance was the best thing ive experienced in theaters in a long time its good to have classic Saw Back, John Kramer and Amanda were the best in this movie, im really hoping Saw 11 goes into the rivalry of Hoffman and Amanda and is set between Saw ll and lll
Damnn. I love this! Have John Kramer appear, too in the movie to witness his "apprentice" being conflicted to each other and how they affect the story and their character.
When cecilia pulled the bag, I could not believe it. Saw had done exactly what it did all those years ago, only this time it felt 10x more right. We saw the evil of the people in the trap and John's emotions earlier in the film confirmed that we should not feel bad for them. Gabriela is the only exception, kind of, but john said she has free will. I loved everything about this film, I cannot stop thinking about it. As a lifelong saw fan, this is everything I wanted and more. The film blew my expectations out of the water. Bravo Kevin G and the entire production crew. The part that stands out to me is the camera going to John as he mouths the pre-recorded message to Cecilia and parker when they learn of their fate. Just jaw dropping. Possibly my favourite film of all time
Gabriela was served the exact same justice that Jigsaw promises to all of his players. She was given no special treatment. And that's why the production team was able to show us very effectively that Cecilia is the main villain of this story.
I really liked that this Zepp Ten is a mix of the previous ones, mainly Hello Zepp, Zepp Six and Eight, it is the most original and creative in terms of notes and tones. I love it!!!
Even though Saw III is my favorite, it unfortunately started the trend of "guy moves from one room to the next trying to save trapped victim". Saw X finally brought back each victim having to escape their own personal trap themselves that we got in Saw I and Saw II, so that's why Saw X was so good to me
I tried to wait to hear it in theaters but I couldn’t resist man. This sounds so good and worthy of a zepp theme in a movie with Tobin Bell’s John Kramer. Hearing it gave me goosebumps man I can’t wait to see this movie Sunday.
My favorite installment in the series! It even changed my perception of Amanda. It was nice to see the good sides of her and John in a way where it was okay to root for them.
Same here. I'm impressed that Shawnee Smith was able to go back into her role pre-saw 3 so incredibly well. It's awesome seeing her aggressive style of doing things that's most present later on in the films while seeing that she did believe at one point that you HAVE to play by the rules regardless. Having to go through the traps seeing her mentor possibly die in X then having to do the needle trap in 2 REALLY messed with her head and her beliefs.

Even tho this film was a prequel and we canonicaly know the fates of Amanda & John, this film still had me nervous about what was going to happen. Even if you know only a little about Saw, you know that when this theme comes on, its Game Over.
In my eyes, Saw X was amazing not because it reminded you of John's legacy, but because it made you *forget.* It isn't just a prequel, it *feels* like something that could've been released before Saw 3 and fit perfectly.
It’s mostly different with new parts and such, or for saw 6, it had a lot of changes, including it being slowed down, more shit added, but it’s mostly the same general idea for a theme
The name, the sound everything is a deliberate choice. “Hello Zepp” despite Zepp being dead for over 9 movies. You hear the song and remember the name and remember that original twist ending from saw 1. You notice the changes in the song and realize that you don’t know what’s about to happen but, it’s big and it’s going to be of a similar magnitude to the reveal that Zepp wants the killer and headshot victim was alive all along and was the killer. Saw x is a special case, there’s bits of every saw song in it and it’s an additional factor of concern that your brain may pick up on. You realize that whatever’s going to happen, everything is connected in some way to it. You may assume that it’s a culmination of everything but, the truth is that it’s where it all picked up pace and everything began.
4:15 is probably the best part in the whole track, it's just like you walking out in triumphant after you outsmarted the other side in every move with your calculations

The actual ending didn't feel as something you would see in a saw movie tbh. Fortunately the fucking post credits scene delivered, thank god I stayed for that

I think what was great about this movie was it kept it on the center of John, don't get me wrong the first second and third were great but this soley focused more on john and kinda going back to the games origin.
Don't get me wrong I loved John in this film. Him helping Carlos with his bike for example but Spiral had a better take on the main game imo. The pignap scenes in this one are the best tho. Real horror this time
My honest favorite of mine was seeing john looking at things and getting trap inspirations from them. Also the fact that he already had the perfect idea on what to do to the janitor with the eye trap just from those first couple of glances was INSANE to me.

I think what was great about this movie was it kept it on the center of John, don't get me wrong the first second and third were great but this soley focused more on john and kinda going back to the games origin.
Don't get me wrong I loved John in this film. Him helping Carlos with his bike for example but Spiral had a better take on the main game imo. The pignap scenes in this one are the best tho. Real horror this time

My honest favorite of mine was seeing john looking at things and getting trap inspirations from them. Also the fact that he already had the perfect idea on what to do to the janitor with the eye trap just from those first couple of glances was INSANE to me.
