Sadhguru clearly makes us walk it and see it for ourselves. He doesn't make us believe or force anything. And he does it very openly. Also very truthfully and honestly he does. And i see the point. It is crystal clear.
Zakir Naik's views are rigid. Putting definitions unto all and to make it fit into it and calling God. That doesn't seem very wise. If what he was saying was right, we would have felt it somewhere, instinctively or otherwise. And talking about God is no shallow thing either.
Sadhguru's points are just on the point straight. He shows it very clearly. And one thing - Sadhguru's wisdom is not the kind where one sees a video of his and you learn it. You have to watch it many more times until it soaks into you. His way is not informative based for sure but experiential type. So something of experiential dimensions cannot be taken unless it is true to you. Also it is not to be taken lightly. His way is deep. So deep. And i am so glad to have learnt so many things from him. To have received such deep insights. I hope it does to you all too, not due to beliefs but experientially. Because what is existential and experiential cannot be taken unless it is true to you. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

what sadhguru and zakir naik said actually does not contradict each other. Sadhguru conclusion was you cannot define god by the definition in which you put yourself or his other creation. Surah Ikhlas which was quoted here by Zakir naik actually is that definition which is completely different from the definition of creation:
1) Say that Allah (God) is one. (That means there is only one creator)
2) Allah (God) is eternal. (That means that God has no life span)
3) Allah (God) has no creator nor a next of kin. (That means God was not created and God has no successor)
4) And there is nothing comparable to Allah (God) (That means there is nothing and no one who is worthy or can claim to be comparable to God)
As Sadhguru said that do not define God the way we define ourself. Therefore, there is nothing in the creation that can define themselves by the definition of Surah Ikhlas. Thus, this is the definition of God.

I have strange story to tell here, since talking about god and experience. of course this kind of stories are quite common in India until 20 years back. my father use to say, he use to talk to god or goddesses at least once a day. plenty of times I ask him, why did not ask him or her, give more money to us, then his reply to me, when that comes to my mind or thought, next min Shiva will disappear. I cannot explain in English all things here , but a lot of things happened. I am sure he did not really talk to god. but in experience he does. we are Brahmin family, and my father is like.. if we set 10 rules for best human being , he gets 9 out of 10. he is best devotee , hard worker in physical world, good educator also, good human being, in 1950 he does degree...he is not uneducated person also.. he knows reality and life.. I did not realize all these things when my father live.. but after start following Sadguru I can relate all the things, feel good, but fortunately he is no more know to learn more things from him ..

First is to understand who I am knowing that I am not a body, not a mind or bunch of thoughts but something called awareness (Chit in Sanskrit), the one who sees and experiences life, drop the ego that I am something in any form, and what you discover is there is only one awareness.
That's exactly what Dhyaan Saadna is meant for, & you described it bang on Girishji,
The western concept have corrupted Dhyaan into meditation & generalised it whereas they both are different.
Good for sadguru, not for whole world. This is not not sadguru vs zakir naik. It's truth vs false. When truth strikes false, false is bound to perish.
Zakir Nair simply implies 2+2=4!! He gives a checklist of qualities that define God which portrays him as religious fantasist. Where in Sadhguru didn't even touch upon answering the question yet he put forth the stereotypes attached to it. Finally, he leaves it to the individual's experience of God. For sure he is a completely dissolved person not shelled by religious teachings.

I'm not for or against anybody. I didn't imply something is right or wrong. Why would I even suppress anyone in the light of spirituality? For I very well know that I do not know. That's when my seeking started.
Personally, I haven't conceptualized anything other than accesories of life.
A guru: light of guidance,-
What I wish is one must guide the other in spirituality not just with knowledge but also effervescing along with you. Like a number of enlightened beings who walked this earth to show us the way. A guru will find one on spiritual awakening.
Books, teachings, concepts & information are 'logical' i.e., pragmatic as well as theoretic serves as means to conduct ourselves better in every walks of life. It moves you to an extent.
But, when the need to know beyond oneself arises, it becomes 'illogical'. To affect one profoundly, one has to break the limitations of physicality & involve in the process of conducting anything devotedly.

As you say 'creation- it's boundless existence' is only evident to his or her realisation.
Containment of god or not is also upto one's choice:
But my being couldn't contain 'god' in concepts, definitions, philosophies, religion, thoughts, feelings, ideas, qualities, deeds, subjects, objects, forms, formless, shapes, belief- theist or atheist, life, even the word 'god' itself etc,. Yet all these enhanced me in one way or the other.
Finally, I don't know the ultimate truth. It is the guru and my life which makes my seeking easier.

I can't understand why Zakir Naik is brought into focus with Sadhguru. What's the point in comparing both. One is always kicked out from one country to another for his dangerous, divisive and "Jihadist' mentality. He is disliked even by people of his own community for his hardcore illogical reasoning . Only a few like-mineded and illiterate audience of his own community listens to him. While the other is a SAINT who talks wisdom and is WELCOMED & listened by people from all class of society irrespective of his or her faith. He gives his wisdom talks on important topics the world over including world bodies like IMF, World Economic Forum, The United Nations apart from top world universities and Top Scientists. Educated People from all cast, creed or faiths like his wisdom talks. He is a YOGI, Mystic and visionary. He speaks on variety of global issues. Presently he is on SAVE SOIL Global Mission. He will ride 33000 kms across 27 countries from UK to Europe, Turkey, Middle East to INDIA starting from 21st March 22. The UNITED NATIONS and other World Bodies as well as every government of these countries are supporting him in his mission.( You can see UA-cam videos.) Therefore comparison between the two is sheer foolishness.

For many questions in life there are no exact answers. Even if one were to find answers they are too profound and deep that they escape the minds. Infinity cannot be known or understood, it can only be experienced. Knowledge is for the mind and experience is for your core self which goes beyond mind.

2) A few years before Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, debated Dr. Zakir Naik with same concept & philosophy like Sadhguru, What was the outcome ? Everyone has seen that.
3) That's why Sadhguru doesn’t like to dialog or debate with Dr. Zakir Naik.
So Zakir gets 1 min air time and Sadhguru gets what?..5mins. I've listen to them both, one is a student of comparative religions and the other is a knowledgeable free spirited individual who is very typical in some sense to a majority of Hindu's. (Now I don't mean to generalise cause that's not fair but within my own life experience of speaking to atleast over say 30 Hindu's, the majority all came from the exact same angle so I'd like to share that perspective) Meaning if you asked them their definition on God they will respond in what they think or believe but if you give your definition they will also agree with you even if it contridicts their own belief or thinking. Now that's perfectly fine cause you could say that's adding a perspective but even if they accept that your way is more logically, more reasonable, more rational they still won't ever let go of their original perspective. Now fence sitting is absolutely fine if that's your choice but what you need to understand is Zakir challenges in this way and if you come out to be unlogical, unreasonable or irrational then isn't it justifiable to say you are following your religion cause you've simple been born into it? This becomes uncomfortable territory for most but this is the area that Zakir operates best within. Tactical and almost military like. His teacher Ahmed deedat was famous for this when debating missionaries.
Sadhguru isn't about that way, he ponders and thinks we generally have no answers to anything. In some sense they are saying the same thing but in many ways sadhguru thinks no answers have been given and never will be refusing to look at the some of the tangible evidence that religion has provided. He's naturally more likeable, less aggressive cause he don't challenge someone's ideology. He represents himself alone so he has less to lose and cause he don't exactly believe in a Godly right or wrong he can't win or lose.
Also I agree Sadhguru doesn't answer questions directly, he's extremely good at redirecting or deflecting questions which in itself is a skill. This method allows him to stay in the green but also allows you to think for yourself whilst possibly even arriving at his conclusion. Zakirs answer was a direct quote from The Holy Quran. The quote being God words, this is the only scripture on the planet that claims to be the direct word of God. It's also important to note the 4 sentence are a clear explanation of Who God is. You can disservice and simply allow 1min on the sentence and not explore it more when there are lectures that last for hours on just one of these sentences going into depth or books on this Surah (revelation scripture/chapter).
He is One, There is no One like Him (Him as in the Holy sense not gender specific)
He does give birth nor is He born, (he don't reproduce like any of his creation) [notice the destinction.. a clearly seperated entity entirely.. not the vanity Version Sadhguru was speaking about, an extension of ourselves.. no something far different]
There is none like him and never will be. He is the All Knowing, All Powerful. He is the All Gracious and Merciful. With some added context hopefully this will add more weight to those scripture words. Question is, do you really think God would create us, leave us here without like some type of manual. A guidance on how to succeed, tell us what our purpose is, what's next. Or do you think God would create us and leave us with no answers like some type of abandoned landlord. What's more logical?
