He said this was one of the best songs that he's ever written. Interesting.

To this song was a bit hard to come up with a analysis but I pulled through, So I think the lyrics convey a sense of vulnerability, power dynamics, and introspection.
The repeated reference to a "strong arm man" and "behemoth" suggests a figure of authority or dominance exerting control over the narrator. This figure seems to have the ability to do as they please, even causing harm ("You poke my eye"). The imagery of being stalked implies a sense of being hunted or pursued, adding to the feeling of being oppressed or trapped.
The chorus reflects a feeling of resignation or acceptance of this situation, with lines like "Till you come undone so tragically" and "Killing your time so tragically." This suggests a sense of inevitability or fatalism in the face of the power dynamics at play.
The verses introduce a contrast between dreams and reality, highlighting the disconnect between perception and truth. The lines "When you dream, you are none the wiser" and "When you shut your eyes, you are none the wiser" suggest a sense of naivety or ignorance, perhaps in relation to the oppressive forces at play.
The refrain "Tonight a cold wind blows inside my conscience, you are my guiding light, you are my sunshine" introduces a juxtaposition between darkness and light, suggesting a complex relationship with the oppressive figure. Despite the negative aspects of their influence, there may also be elements of dependence or reliance.
The closing lines "Don't look down, where you go I go, slow it down, where you go I go too" could be interpreted as either resignation to the control of the dominant figure or a defiant declaration of solidarity and unity.
Overall, I think the lyrics explore themes of power, control, vulnerability, and resilience, painting a nuanced portrait of the dynamics between the narrator and the oppressive force they face.

Each cord of this song pierces my soul, my own personal anthem along with Seed. Underated, but atleast I know this

Although I'm not a big fan of any album after Humanistic, this song is really great.

An opinion isn't an excuse for calling someone retarded for not being a big fan of something.

They didn't really shit on the band, they're just saying they're not a big fan of any of Abandoned Pools' albums _after_ Humanistic, but they did say this song is really great. Like I said, opinions are opinions - they can like or dislike whatever they listen to.

Someone please tell me that I’m not the only one who gets subtle satanic vibes from this? Not just by the name, but thinking about it in the context of the lyrics as well....
