Overall, the new system looks pretty good. Why didn’t you show us the “caterpillar crawl”? ;-)
Nice!
🐛🐛🐛😆
Great project Joe, thanks for sharing
Good job Joe, ❤🇲🇨
Thank You!💥🤘
Looks like a solid upgrade on my camera system!
Thanks Mate! Im likin that wide angle!😆
You had me until the “go outside” part. Outside is full of scary things like wedgies and girls and bears and stuff.
NOT
HAPPENING.
Good video 👍
😆😆😆Lol Love that😆😆
don't forget to firewall it from sending traffic out of your network.
If you do that remote monitoring won't work.
Those are big words for me😏
China gonna be spying on him now and using his internet for a jump off point. Need to limit its outbound traffic and use vpn to access remotely
Nice
💥🤘😆
You might be able to add the other cameras manually if you can get them to show up on the NVR but if I had to guess the old system was using something weird to send the POE so you may need an adapter at the camera to convert the wires over to what it needs to be for the old system. That being said, the cameras seem inexpensive enough so maybe you can sell you old system and get enough to add a few more cameras without costing too much.
Whats weird is with old cam connected to new NVR, the motion light turns of like everything is working but nothing on screen.
Ill probly reinstall the old system but put the cameras in other locations since I have it🤷♂️😁
You said military discount never knew that about you.
Thank you for your service.
Thanks! Yeah served 6yrs in the USAF as an Aircraft Mechanic back in 2000-2006. Also served 9 moar years as a civilian working for the USAF doing the exact same job on the exact same Aircraft😁🤘🇺🇲🦅
@AveRage_Joe
I also was an aircraft mechanic did this for 40 years now retired. Not military just a blue-collar worker. Enjoyed every minute of it. Worked on the Mohawk ov1d. Then Boeing.
he needs it to record the revenge of the ground hogs.
Its in the making!😆😆😆JK
@@AveRage_Joe
it will be interesting once the ground hogs are inside the basement tampering with your solar system!
Re: old cam on new switch: you said old network cables did not work, right. Let’s compare the pinouts of the old vs new. Dis old have two way comms? Might be a simple pin out adjustment to get old cams to work on new switch
It could be. If i connect the old cams to new NVR, its like they seem to work but dont show up on screen. The motion activated light turns on and everything.
14:35... Lucky... You would really need one person pushing the cable into the hole while a 2nd person pulls at the other end. This will eliminate a lot of snags.
Sarcasm alert: I see that you drink Pepsi. Unsubscribed!
Great video, as always. Thanks.
I prefer the Dr Pepper😆🤘
@@AveRage_Joe Then explain those 12-packs of Pepsi on the shelf behind you in the garage. And don't bother trying to blame it on your wife; she seems like a right upstanding citizen. Remember, you ARE under oath... well, OK, maybe not.
Love your channel.
I am 100% blaming the wife since I dont have kids😆😆😆
Wide angle means spider burglars will be caught.
I wanna see EVERYTHING😆😆😆
awesome content! your detailed reviews are exactly what we’re looking for. We’re VIKYLIN and we’d love to chat about a possible collaboration on our security cameras.😍😍😍

Very desirable system. I do prefer PTZ cameras though.
Nice Joe, But you left out some critical information that an "average" viewer might want to know, like, what is the "average" power consumption of this system.?

What app are you using to view your cameras? I have the 32 channel version of this system and have not been liking this setup at all. The app they suggest in the instruction manual sucks. Also that 24/7 tech support is BS. They are based out of Thailand so yeah 24/7 means they will get back to you in a day or so. My system acts like it doesn't have the RAM to really operate the play back of recorded video very well. It has a hard time playing synced playback of multiple cameras. The camera mikes have poor sound quality. Originally it took me a while to figure out how to get the cameras to stay on a channel in the live feed before onwote got back to me with an answer to this problem. Overall I would stay away from onwote, it is not that great of a system for the money. If you are sitting in front of the monitor watching live play back it is fine but other than watching video in real time it's not worth it. I didn't buy a security camera to sit in front of monitors and watch my business live. I wanted to be able to go back and check on it later. I have more CONNS than PROS for the 32 channel system.
I am using the app that comes with it. Cant say for the 32 channel system as I have the 16 channel. Tech support did say that it would be a few days. For playback, are you using a phone, pc or monitor right on the NVR? All viewing work great for me. I am using a S21 samsung phone so its a few years old. Pc I am using windows 10. I have the my PC viewing up every single day will editing videos ect. Works great. You can absolutely go back and watch what was recorded. You can view the recorded video again from phone or pc. You can also download anything you want with phone or pc although I would suggest using a pc if downloading longer videos. You can download the whole day, events or enter in a specific time frame. Works great!
The key word shopping for cameras (IP). That usually means it has a subnet address that will work even plugged into a private network like a PC.
Thank you for the info!💥🤘
Short cables? Pull new cable using old cable? Use a RJ45 coupler to connect cables together
I was going to use couplers but wanted them to be a smoooooth as possible🐛🐛
6’6” 250lbs…don’t talk about 2-12 pitch attics. Ugh!
Train kitty for night ops mission!
My lower and mid back are destroyed....unless yours is too😬 Kitty should be trained as replacement😆😆
Your newer cameras are 8MP and therefore are taking longer to load in the remote app then your older system. Also try turning your phone sideways (landscape mode) to see a larger picture.
I also noticed on the old camera box it says upscaled to 4k. Im guessing that is part of it to?
Glad you showed the attic, mine isn't as low as yours but very close and i'm not looking forward to doing wiring up there.
Lol its not much of a space🤭
Looks good but in this day and age why not go wifi instead of wire connectors. Ya I want to see the caterpillar crawl too lol
The Camera is powered by the nvr. If you had a WiFi camera you would need a power cable for it or if it was battery powered, you would be changing them all of the time. POE is the best along with no wifi interference .
Can you zoom in to see a license plate on a car 🚘 ? The one driving across the lawn! That is a good system. Thanks for sharing. 😊
You can zoom in😀 Lets hope that it can see that plate when it zooms by😲😆😆
I saw what you "did" (teased) with the MamMotion / Luba, but Andy @andys-garage beat you to it on his German channel :)
Nice NVR upgrade video though.
Shhh... that was not intentional lol. This one is a newer model then the Luba but either way, Cant wait to try it!💥🤘
@@AveRage_Joe MowRator is way better...
Well done as always!
Thanks!😁🤘
In most circumstances they should be just ONVIF standard and talk to any cameras. But there's ONVIF and then there's ONVIF, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It could be something as simple as the Swan cameras having a different password but you should do a follow-up with Onwote to see if they support other brands and if anything can be done to make it compatible.
I am wondering if my "old" cameras and just out of date maybe...hard to say. Ill keep at it and see what I can figure out!💥🤘
@@AveRage_Joe it could be something as simple as them having a password set by Swan which is unknown to Onwote. But across many cameras that I have, very few have the same ONVIF configuration, so it can be quite a pain to set them up with an NVR.
Ohhh....I gotcha. Ok I guess that makes since or is clear as mud😆 as I google the term ONVIF🤭🤭😆
how about giving me the old camera system🤔🤔🤔
1st!!!!!!!
