loved seeing the walkthrough and very very jealous of your French contra! I saw one from Brazil for sale a while ago but didn't have the money burning a hole in my pocket :)!
Your playing is absolutely wonderful! I play on a German bassoon since that's the standard of the US, but I've always loved the sound of French models. Lovely instruments :)
Hello. I'm very interested in french bassoon. I've been playing German system for almost 14 years and I would like to start learning how to play french system. Do you recommend me to buy a new one or a second handed? If the second handed bassoon isnt a bad option, where do you think I could find it?. Thank you!
Laurence Ibisch is the best source in the states. I strongly recommend starting with a second hand model from last century, and if you can play it, and find it rewarding enough, get a professional model!
What a beautiful instrument. The grain in the wood is spectacular. What a wonderful treasure to have inherited from your father... I'm a flutist in the States, and I really enjoy your videos.
Lovely video

I was so into your sounds and musicianship that when the piece ended I felt very lost and empty. Well done.

Thanks very much! There are a few French basson players in the US, you could always join them.

It's a good question, I've often wondered this myself!
