See most of the good rankers are from civil engineering background, if any body have done his degree in environmental engineering then low gate score may also be useful.. bcoz some recruiters or IITs will keen to hire environmental engineer.
@@architgoel0009 Some SPCB, and PSU are hiring only btech environmental engineering graduates. For examples MPPCB, Gujrat power corporation, CIL ONGC etc. you may go through the advertisement notification of these recruiters.

Sir i am in Bsc 3 rd year of environmental science and the syllubus of gate es exam is more about in engineering background so how can i prepare for it, cause this is an first time opertunity for us who are from bsc environmental science background

And I am honestly saying that there is no future with this rank.and in environment sector there is less opportunities comparing to other branches.
