A dream come true......All my life I wanted to see the Cherry Blossoms....... It was a very cold and windy day: I think 32 degrees F, and the winds 20 miles por hour...... In the restaurant I was frantic looking my insulin......Finally I found it...... It was a very wonderful day........I really enjoyed a day shared with Paula and Jim..........Thanks my Son......You are the best in the World....Love... MOM...>>>
Mother & Son an Amazing Combination Alma you did a Exceptional job of raising Robert. Robert you always do a wonderful job with your Videos, Knowledge,Research,Music & Editing. HAPPY TRAVELS! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
Just so you know, I sit through some of the commercials to help put a little gas in your tank. I'm sure others do as well but this serves a reminder to all, to help you out in your adventures.
Very nice…despite the frigid weather! The cherry blossom trees/flowers are gorgeous… You make an awesome tour guide! Watching your vlogs felt like I was on tour with you. That was nice of you to bring your Mom! As an immigrant, so proud of America…the land of opportunity! Thank you for sharing your vlogs. Enjoy your trip and stay safe! 💕🤙🏼☕️
Your right the Tidal Basin is a large area. One trip during the blossom festival I walk all the way around it. There are some really cool hidden gems there. I love throwing a lunch in a back pack and just spend the day on the mall. I live an hour and half from DC. It never gets old going there.
I hope you get the journals of Lewis & Clark before your new trip. Great resource. Also the Museum under the Arch in St. Louis is excellent. There is also the Daniel Boone homestead in Missouri.
This is a great video. Like I’ve said before, you take me place I may never visit, but I’ve been to DC 3 times before, but like every place, things change. I’m enjoying seeing and hearing about the city. Thank you!!
Thank you So much Robert for a Great video!! So good to see your Mom! Looks like she had a wonderful time. Thanks to Jim for helping you out. My son took me on a trip to D.C. last Sept., It was Fantastic!! God Bless you Alma, Robert, and Elly!
We were there the second week of April. We did a walking tour of the monuments with Rob from Trip Hacks DC. We had a cold/windy day too, but it was awesome.
Kind of interesting to watch you shivering in this video when the area is currently experiencing a record-breaking heat wave. Brings to mind the Mark Twain quote, "Everybody talks about the weather, but nobody does anything about it." I first visited D.C. in 1965 and have been back a couple of times since. To this day my favorite thing in the museums on the mall is that giant African Elephant in the rotunda of the Natural History Museum. Did you get a chance to visit the Udvar-Hazy facility of the Air & Space Museum? Knowing your interest in aircraft and aviation, I would think it would be a Traveling Robert bucket-list item.
Hello Robert, how are you? This video is awesome 👌. I went to Washington DC in the year of 2018, absolutely amazing place. Parliament House, Monument, Museum are full of numdrum of city life. Enjoy this video very much, thanks.
Howdy Robert and Mama. Actually, you arrived at the perfect time of year. Next time be sure to wear a hat. Also, a lot of walking in the tourist areas, a lot of walking. Come back in August, it will be warm believe me. We should have hooked up and had bbq.
Wonderful Video and your cute Mom 🥰 I grew up in Montana and live in the PNW so we learned the history of Lewis and Clark -I am really looking forward to seeing your trip along the L & C trail -Going to be really good 😀🚌🇺🇸
North Florida Mandy here. Off topic but next time you're in Perry Fl, look for the town pig! I saw him on ( another channel sorry! lol ) he is big and gray with black on him and he kind of looks like a big Dog. I guess he roams around and gets fed. He seems friendly ( he's so big though and they can bite ) but he stinks up close. He tried to eat their car pockets! LOL LOL LOL Just info for ya.
Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎵🎵🎸🎸🍔🍔, This was an AMAZING tour of Washington,DC. I'm absolutely this. In really looking forward to exploring the Martin Luther King Museum! OUTSTANDING video Robert👍👍👍👍👍👍!

Darn, you guys are making me emotional here...glad you enjoyed the Cherry Blossoms 🌸!
They do a great job of making DC look like a functioning center of a competent government.

There is a National Park service museum under the Gateway Arch in St Louis. There you will find the Lewis and Clark exhibits you seek.
FINALLY we get to hear Traveling Alma speak!
Those trees are so lovely. They don’t last long enough. Too bad it was so cold. I admire you for tuffing it out. ❤

The lady didn’t seem very happy at the dinner table
Lol, the lady at around 18:58
I thought the National Mall is where you can go to buy a politician. 🤣
Let’s go Brandon!!
Great 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Technically, it wouldn't be Marine1 unless the President was on board.
Hello Robert. I hope you don't mind about a rather off-topic question. Have you tried the Brightline train service, or got any thoughts about it? Thanks.
Not yet
@@TravelingRobert Thanks for replying, it's appreciated.
Which campground did you stay?
Cherry Hill Park
Why is the Washington monument a giant egyptian symbol?
The only problem with visiting DC is that there is so much to do you can;t do everything in one trip.
🌺
That's expensive for being non profit, I think I need to change our firm to non profit
It wasn't Marine 1
Let's go Brandon
Why didn't you go to the Vietnam Wall and the known momua.e nt and things like that
Mom couldn't walk that much
You’re mom might be ashame of you for not speaking Spanish in your videos
