Hi Ayesha ❤ your description of Guidance is spot on. Usually I am not into pretty girl perfumes but this one is something else, so fully bodied and multifaceted. Beautiful 😍 and the dry down is to die for and lasts forever!!

I totally agree with you what you said about Lineage. I have a full bottle of Guidance and I love it. Sampled lineage and it’s growing on me. Definitely, going to purchase. It’s going to be good for the summer months.

Ayesha I love how you describe fragrances, your hairstyle, and those earrings on you. An off priced retailer loaded up on more Amouage fragrances than I could handle, but Sunshine woulda coulda been the blind buy if any. They had a sale before I could vet any, and most sold out. Thanks for your educative content which I feel will assist me to better perceive the Olafactory experience of Amouage.

Ahh this video was so serendipitously timed for me! I've wanted to sample Sunshine (woman) for so long due to yours and Delicious Delights recommendations - I recently went on holiday and at the airport they had it, I was so excited - but on trying to spray the tester bottle, it was empty 😞so sad. But the bottle was so gorgeous with all the sparkles! Then whilst on holiday I bought Blanche Bete in a store and they offered me three samples of other frags so YES, I finally got a sample of Sunshine that I will test very soon. Also picked up a sample of Guidance so I can properly wear it, I usually love Quentin Bisch's frags so already worried I might love it (that price!)...so it was great to see a full run down of these ones, thank you 🙂

Thank you! I would love to try Lilac Love one day. I smelled it in store a few weeks ago, but by the time I got around to it, I think my nose was too tired to really pick anything up.

Came across your channel and so glad I did. Amouage is my favorite parfum house. Sunshine for was my 1st blind by purchase as well. I must say there’s something about Blossom Love, that is such an addictive scent for me! I know others aren’t that found of it, but it just moves me. I have 5 from the house so far and Overture is next on the list for me! Love that I have come across an Amouage fragrance lover!

I love your list! I’m so glad I got a decant of Guidance because it was a hard pass for me. I wanted to love it! That bottle is so gorgeous! I think it’s the akigalawood that’s throwing me off. I do have and love Material and Blossom Love and now I want to test Portrayal and Overture. They sound beautiful!

I’m going to the mall this week to get my nose on Guidance. I love the color pink so I hope to be able to add another one to my collection. Crimson Rocks is a beautiful fragrance. Have you smelled that one yet? You gotta enjoy spicy though because the opening is a blast of spice but once it settles down, it’s beautiful. You’ve influenced me to purchase Overture but I did get a sample first so hopefully that comes home with me. Sunshine is another beauty as well as Portrayal but me and Journey didn’t like each other 😂.
Guidance, is on my to smell list.... it's definitely been hyped up

Guidance is so so good… I get tons of compliments every time I wear it…I think it’s a masterpiece. I now like this house because of Guidance & I am hoping to get more of their fragrances. Thanks for this video
I love my Amouage fragrances! I own Sunshine Woman (I bought bc of your review), Portral Woman (least favorite but I still like it), Material, Overture Woman, and Guidance!(Sharida sold me on it) I'm head over hills over Guidance and it's compliments galore!

Love this, video. My first purchase was Amouage sunshine too, and I am currently waiting it's arrival. Overature reminds me of Kilian's Apple Brandy on the Rocks, but with more complexity❤ And I'm waiting for a sale on guidance, something tells me that I'll be waiting for all long time😂
Sunshine Woman is top 5 for life for me - it may be #1 in my collection, it was for a long time. 💛

Guidance is not for me, makes me think of a rose Bulgarian sope.
Sunshine woman is wow. Adore the fuzzy appricot and the light tobacco.
I also really enjoy Bracken (woman) for summer, such a pretty happiness inducing scent!❤️ Bracken woman is my summer signature scent.
Also, Crimson Rocks is so addictive and seductive for colder months.

I favorite amouage fragrance is Figment woman,it's a really good take on tuberose and I always get compliments when I wear it
HI Ayesha, loved this video! I was hoping you had Lilac Love as well; I am so curious about that one. I almost blind bought it, because of the description of cocoa powder sprinkled on top of a bouquet of purple flowers. I have three from Amouage: Material, Sunshine, and Love Tuberose. I don't you how you feel about tuberose, but this one is really special. My favorite is Sunshine as well. It's my spirit perfume :-).

Great video. I own 5 Amouages. Sunshine Woman is my favorite, and then Journey Woman because it smells like honey florals to my nose. I wore it during the summer months. Portrayal women is nice, and so is Cherry Blossom. My least favorite is Honour Woman, because I'm not a heavy Tuberose lover. I like it well blended, but not in your face. I blind bought all and I definitely wouldn't recommend blind buying this brand; although, I blind bought them all and will continue 😅. Material Woman was on my radar, but I already have Ivory Route by Xerjoff so I've held off. I'm now interested in Overture Woman.

Waiting on the Guidance sample, I agree you can’t blind by Amouage fragrances. I love Lilac Blossom for the Spring, great compliment getter which was a total surprise and Blossom Love was a surprise for me as well I really liked it last Spring. Material and Overture Woman were in heavy rotation this past fall and winter, so intoxicatingly Good. Sunshine Woman is definitely on deck to get this spring.
Lilac Love is so amazing. I hope to smell the Blossom one soon.

Great video! Sunshine Man is very unique. A little strange to my nose. I don’t think there are any similarities with Naxos, but all noses are different. I am in between wanting a bottle and not really liking it.
Just trying out Guidance today and am still on the fence. It is so layered. Struggle with the fruity part.
Blossom Love is not interesting enough to me, but beautiful when layered with other fragrances. Have worn it with Epic Woman and that combo is incredible! Wore it the other day with L’Imperatrice Sissi from Nicolai de Barry and that was also a hit!
Journey Woman is beautiful, kind of want a bottle!

The only full bottle I have from Amouage is Overture Woman and I am not sure I should have bought it… It is a little too boozy, too sweet and sometimes bready in a way that I find disturbing. Maybe it is the nutmeg that bothers me🤔? Thanks for pointing that out. I find Overture to be beast mode. My son sprayed it once and the smell filled the house. ”Too sexy for work”😆The bottle is SO beautiful!

I love the house og Amouage❤ i have Beach Hut, Sunshine Woman and Portrayal. I sold Love Tuberose, though its beautyful. Yes, Portrayal smells like ashtray, but in the most lovely way. Its my party-girl-perfume. I smelled Guidence andLiniance (?) a week ago, and at first i thought Liniance was for me, but Guidence devoleped like theres no tomorrow and it still smells of it in my car and a lot on the coat i wore. Definatly saving up for Guidence.

Good evening, I am waiting to get a bottle of Guidance with a better or more affordable price. I find it very comforting and I believe it is not a safe blind buy definitely.
I have ordered a decant of Guidance, cant wiat to get my nose on it. I got a decant of Sunshine Woman and for the life of me I just cant seem to take to it, maybe "white" tobacco isnt my thing I dont know. A shame though because if I had liked the decant I would have definitely gotten that cute bottle at some point. I wonder if Sunshine Man would be more my thing, hopefully I can find a decant of that. For now my favs of Amouage are Honour Woman and then Lilac Blossom. TFS!

If I had never smelled Overture, I’d think I wouldn’t like it if I read the notes. I love it and it smells so good. It’s definitely on my list to get. I definitely want to smell material and sunshine.

Overture is definitely a “Rich Dubai Woman” scent! I have a sample and it smells so good!

Hello. I must say I only own 1 which is Blossom love 🌸. Ibdont reach for it often be as though i get a headache each time i wore it. I'm impressed by its longevity but trying to get another one from house

@@funeka691Actually, there is a Jubilation Man (with the roman numerals ‘XXV’) and a different Jubilation for women (‘25’). I am a man and I have both of them. The former is a spicy incense, and Jub for women is a stunning chypre. Amouage have just recently released (Dec 2023) a reformed extrait version of the men’s Jub; it’s called Jubilation 40 in honour of Amouage’s fortieth anniversary. Cheers!

I love watching these types of videos. I do think that it is very risky to blind buy fragrances even after watching reviews because everyone is so different. I LOVE Amouage Guidance for example but I absolutely HATE Amouage Material, it made me so incredibly nauseous (I thought I would absolutely love it from all the reviews I watched but I can’t stand it at all), it is so interesting to me how everyone is so different ❤
Wow, you may be the first person I’ve heard of that didn’t like Material. I love that fragrances are so different for different people. It keeps it interesting!
I am a guy who usually dosen't usually like smokey, woodsy, musky "masculine" fragrances. I prefer "interesting" fragrances like Tom Ford Nior or Tom Ford Black Orchid.. but last week I got a 10ml travel size spray of Amouage Lyric Man and Amouage Interlude Man, and the Interlude Man is such a [fantastic] "masculine" smokey, woodsey scent, it reminds me of a luxe high-end Steakhouse in a glitzy Las Vegas hotel. I found Lyric Man to be really nice and is one of the few "rose" scents marketed towards men. I am brand new to the Fragrance scene and Tom Ford, Creed, Amouage, Kilian, and Initio fragrances are some of my favorite. I mostly order 5ml or 10ml viles of fragrances from the discounter websites but have also bought 4 different full size bottles(TF and Creed). 🦋🌸🏵

I samples Guidance. I liked it but it’s not a love. I got some BO vibe in the opening that threw me off but the dry down is good. I also tried a few in the house. Overture women is sweet, boozy and it oozes luxury. Love it and may consider a full bottle. I was actually surprised by Journey Men! If you are a rose lover, definitely try to get your nose to this one. 100% unisex IMO.

When I tried Sunshine woman, it just came off ashtray to me. Which was really unfortunate because I really like a tobacco note. I want to try Portrayal woman, hopefully it doesn't come off the same. And I really wanted to love Material, but it came off really sharp on my skin. Smelled great on paper. Overture woman smelled amazing on paper, I want to get it on my skin. Hopefully it doesn't have the same effect 😬
Definitely get a sample of Portrayal Woman. If you are sensitive to “ashtray vibes” 😆, it may not work for you.
I fell down the Amouage rabbit hole. Their fragrances is much better on skin than paper. I have Journey Woman, Material and Crimson Rock. Currently testing their new releases.

Does anyone else think the names for the new collection are weird? Guidance, Lineage, perhaps they will come out with Deliverance, lol. I love this house! I also own and love Sunshine and have samples of many. My very first and my very favorite is Jubilation 25, but in the original version. It's a gorgeous chypre, which is my favorite category of perfumes. I really liked my sample of Journey but it seemed to have the similar osmanthus smell that is better done in Sunshine so I still haven't gotten a bottle. Thank you! oxJulia

Is Overture more of a cold or warm weather scent?
More of a cold weather scent, but I think you can get away with it at night in the Spring/Summer. Especially indoors.

The only Amouage in my collection is Material. I love it so much! I am fairly early on in my fragrance journey and when I first got it I didnt like it. I found it too oriental, too insensy, too dense and too heavy. But as time passed I finally got it! It is now one of my all time favorite perfumes 🥰. Such a vanilla masterpiece and so versatile. It is perfect layered with other perfumes. I am so happy I own it... But my wallet is not since I am now wanting more Amouage... 😂

I need to try Overture on skin. Smelled on paper and I all could smell was leather so afraid to try on skin lol. I will get a decant of that and Portrayal next.
