My dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer when he was 80 and his doctor told me that wouldn’t kill him. Dad lived to 93 and he did not die of cancer. Best wishes to King Charles..
If he’s undergoing Chemotherapy then it can reduce immunity. As well as killing cancer cells, chemotherapy can damage some healthy cells in your body, such as blood cells, skin cells and cells in the stomach.
I've been a board-certified physician since 1989, no doctor should speculate what his diagnosis is without knowing the King's history, doing a physical exam and reviewing his imaging and laboratory data. This doctor who is being interviewed by Piers is an embarrassment to the medical field.
No, he’s speculating and while it’s likely bladder cancer, going home has nothing to do with good news. Anecdotal but My brother was 67 and died last year from bladder cancer after a 2 year battle. He didn’t smoke, was very healthy and after surgery was treated outpatient.
He acknowledges it’s speculation. It is the most likely thing you might discover at cystoscopic prostate surgery. I thought he explained the problem quite well. I’m not sure what good knowing the King’s history and physical, imaging and labs would do because his physicians knew all that and were surprised at what they discovered during his surgery.
Oncologists here in England have also been saying it's often found to be bladder or glandular cancer, like Lymphoma, thats found during prostrate operations..? I have stage 4 Non Hodgkin Lymphoma, diagnosed in 2016. Age 42 Still Severly immuno surpressed from treatments.
yes, it is too the business of people in the United Kingdom. Just like it would be our business if Biden was diagnosed with an illness. The king of England isn’t just the king of England. He’s also the king of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, which join England to make up the United Kingdom. He’s also king of the 14 other nations that currently make up the “Commonwealth realm,” including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Bahamas and Jamaica. All 15 Commonwealth realms together comprise 150 million people. What constitutes the king’s “rule” over the Commonwealth realm is still up in the air. Although the power to govern resides in parliament, and the royal family (aka The Crown) fully acknowledges that its role is largely ceremonial, the king possesses a great many powers and responsibilities.
This reminds me of two historical cases. In 1888, Emperor Wilhelm I of Germany was still on the throne. It was known as the year of three Emperor's. His son was diagnosed with throat cancer. Sadly, Wilhelm I died and was succeeded by a very ill Frederick III. He was Emperor for 99 days before he sadly passed away. In 1901, Queen Victoria died and was succeeded by Edward VII. Edward VII was diagnosed with appendicitis in the run up to the Coronation. The coronation had to be postponed and he very fortunately recovered. He was told that he would die if the Coronation went ahead and he was untreated. I hope King Charles makes a very speedy recovery !
Yes, but the fact that even his heartless Harry came to see him, means that there's reason to be worried. Cancer is now so treatable that people carry on working whilst receiving treatment.
Yes - the history of the last illness of the Emperor Frederick is fascinating. His German doctors diagnosed cancer of the throat when it was at a very early stage and could easily have been cured by an operation. However, his wife, the eldest daughter of Queen Victoria, was in regular contact with her mother, who insisted that no treatment should be commenced before Queen Victoria’s own favourite Scottish Surgeon was given the opportunity to offer a diagnosis. This involved a delay. In the end, the Scottish Surgeon diagnosed a bacterial infection of the throat and advised against surgery. By the time he was, finally, satisfied, that the complaint was, in fact, cancer of the throat, it was too late for an operation.
I had Bladder Cancer . I had a very painful bladder I kept telling my doctor and he didn’t take any notice of me and kept putting me on Cipro ! I. Called a Urologist and saw him in Hospital and he put me out and looked in side my bladder. And did a Turbt on my bladder aghhh!! He scrapped the bladder 😢 He said I had cancer and he would have to take out my Bladder and all my insides around it aghhh!. So I went for a second opinion and this doctor was great and said no way was he going to take anything out of me . I got treated with BCG. And at the end of the treatment I I have no Cancer!
My Auntie died from bladder cancer. She seemed okay the first month of her diagnosis but she became weaker after that. She was in the hospital after a couple of months and then went home where we cared for her in her final days. I wish the best outcome for King Charles. Long live the King!

Bladder cancer is very treatable if caught early. The palace has said whatever the cancer is, it was caught early. Even if it’s caught very late, about 40% still survive.
My dad had bladder cancer and because it was caught early it really was as if he only had a minor illness...he had to go back in every 6 months as an out patient to have the tumour growth scraped out and he had chemotherapy wafers applied to the area...but he was totally fine...a few years later the cancer never grew back and he completely recovered...he was never particularly ill with it and seemed completely healthy throughout...because it never breached the bladder wall it was never serious...I think the worst thing about it was having a camera up the pee hole...if you catch it early then it's easily treated... 👍
if early stage not too bad. it is treated here with bacillus from tuberculosis BCG a form of immunotherapy. Highly effective in many cases. A male relative was diagnosed with it some years ago said treatment not too bad and he has not had any progression of disease. Keeping fingers crossed.
I'm much more concerned about Catherine Wales. What sort of benign abdominal surgery requires a two week post op stay these days.I think that she has inflammatory bowel disease requiring post op immuno therapy with close monitoring for post op bowel leaks. I hope that they left enough bowel behind for near normal function. Surgery is a last resort option for IBD. Go Catherine.

And yes most likely bladder cancer, because they would have looked around his bladder with the scope while they had it there. Only common sense. Bladder is very treatable. May his God go with him and keep him safe.
He's got Dactylitis, hence his swollen fingers!! He's had it for years. What's this kidney cancer nonsense? It will most likely be bladder (colon or testicular at a push but hopefully the more easily treatable bladder cancer) Let's see .. 🤞 God's Speed
Kidney cancer does not cause swelling of the hands and feet because, cancer usually affect only one kidney and you have another fully functioning kidney which makes up for the full renal function. That is why people can donate a kidney without any problem. You get swelling of the hands and feet only when you have renal failure.

He had regency documents to sign I expect along with Andrew & Beatrice who was seen at Clarence house, they are the 3 updated removed councillors of the state options, due to being non working senior royals. First, Piers said it was "another kind of cancer", which implies that King Charles has prostate cancer, which we have never been told. Then to speculated the he has bladder cancer is just so very wrong. Good way to start false rumors, Piers.
@cremebrulee4759 Another kind of cancer means it wasn't prostate. It's reported that the cancer was discovered during a scheduled procedure to treat his enlarged prostate.
But if it's bladder cancer, then from what you say, that's easible curable. Then WHY is everyone talking aboyt this so seriously- especially Harry immediately coming to the UK to visit him?
Queen Elizabeth planned her death perfectly. Charles only been on the throne for 18 months in his seventies with cancer. Either way you slice it, his time on the throne will be short.
Well..If we walked into your doctor's and asked to have a look at your medical records because I'm curious would that be ok for the world to see? I adore Piers Morgan. Imagine working where you can get your frustrations out; then go home not taking them with you. Kidding, I do really like him as a reporter.
He's got it in for Mee-Again and Harry Silverspoon. The two don't stand a chance with Piers.

My dad went in for an enlarged prostate, had bladder cancer diagnosis and surgery, and died within 18 months
Was asked not to speculation of problem and look what they are doing. Leave them alone do treatment and get better than they may issue details later once recovered.
Still trying to understand your brown noising of the PM
Murdoch's orders.
There are thousands of poor kids with cancer who never got to live life. The “king” is almost 80 years old. He had his time. Help the children
If His Majesty wanted us to know he would tell us ...please respect his wishes and stop speculating
Majesty my A .. he's just a human being . Its 2024 already . Grow up
For Harry to come all the way out for early bladder cancer (which is 97% treatable in the early stages ) I would find odd.
Horrid probably did it for PR purposes.
He had regency documents to sign I expect along with Andrew & Beatrice who was seen at Clarence house, they are the 3 updated removed councillors of the state options, due to being non working senior royals.
That's why Harry only stayed 20-30mins...
He had to be back in the states to attend the award ceremony.
I find everything that boy does as odd!
@@gambylou9959 He's not all there, always been a victim being the spare alot like princess Margaret was to the Queen, she said she always wanted to be Queen but wasn't first born so was always the spare but she didn't write books slating the Queen or do interviews on Oprah about it..🫤
@elisamiller1837
He knew his father wouldn't decline his visit. He can't just pop in whenever he feels like it without good reason or negotiation.
My father died of bladder cancer 10 years ago. He was treated at NYU
Bless you for bringing this information to us. Even if it is something more serious - for the time being we get to breathe a sigh of relief for the King. He (and his parents) endured soooo much unneeded extra stress the last 5 years. It would be heartbreaking if something serious happened to him. I am from the US, but deep down (and many many generations ago) I am British at heart. I kept my maiden name (which is British) for my love of all things British including the royal family. Bless you Piers and God Save the King.
Piers please back off. Let the King have some privacy.
We pray for him.I got a fell down bladder. But, I don't want to operate ,anymore. He will cure, and not be so much worried. We're also on God's hands, too...

The only thing that makes sense is the gallbladder . Its the organ next to the prostate .
Piers.. dont speculate & actually respect the families & kings right to some privacy..
Its a nunya..none your buisiness!
Piers you could always get someone to TAP some phones , like you did in the old days
Waaagh!
😂😂😂He's still denying that mate!😂

We love and miss you King Charles. We are all praying for you!
First, Piers said it was "another kind of cancer", which implies that King Charles has prostate cancer, which we have never been told. Then to speculated the he has bladder cancer is just so very wrong. Good way to start false rumors, Piers.
@cremebrulee4759
Another kind of cancer means it wasn't prostate. It's reported that the cancer was discovered during a scheduled procedure to treat his enlarged prostate.
But if it's bladder cancer, then from what you say, that's easible curable. Then WHY is everyone talking aboyt this so seriously- especially Harry immediately coming to the UK to visit him?
Be patient people. You will eventually find out.
Queen Elizabeth planned her death perfectly. Charles only been on the throne for 18 months in his seventies with cancer. Either way you slice it, his time on the throne will be short.
Most cancer patients do go home and do daily treatment and they go home
Why is he hiding the kind of cancer ??
It's his private business, that's why.
Well..If we walked into your doctor's and asked to have a look at your medical records because I'm curious would that be ok for the world to see? We have a thing called medical confidentiality,it's a right to privacy law.
Nobody needs to know anybody else's health business, unless the patient wishes to divulge it themselves.
So I King shouldn’t be sick????
Sickness, dead haven’t hierarchy, being a king or a beggar,a rich or a poor ,we all going to be buried and face with equal dignity the Lord of the universe,God or Allah🙏🏾
Come on guys are you really going to speculate can we not just wait to see what they actually say? This is low for even you man
We also know the king would not have chemo we know the King prefers natural methods , he is keeping himself away from human contact.
What about pancreatic cancer?
Dig, dig, dig…..back off Piers!!!
Harry is so self centered. He could have zoomed with his father. He comes over in a commercial airline filled with passengers- people dealing with cancer and its treatment stay away from people for fear of germs. All about Harry
People should also remember that one in two now will get cancer at some time in their life
What about respecting the King's privacy Piers.
Oh dear Piers Wishing the King Godspeed to full health and vigour 💐
NO!
Why are they hiding it? Either they should have hidden his illness or none.
It’s Charles decision to make not yours.
@@user-midlander And it's not your job to tell me ,that Charles Decision it is, shut up and stop being a Gay .
Hes 75 not nearly 80 so y cabt be sorry for someone with cancer because hes old. Bit harsh. Of course its extra terrible when a child gets cancer
Think Positives Please & Pray For All Of Them
Great news.makes sense.❤
Agreed. Experts will have a fair idea of the prognosis. Cancer is quite normal in older people. It is a condition that many live with for years. Things start to catch up with you from 60 onwards. I know.
