    it's really good to watch your videos in every step of my learning process. i started struggling getting on the board and now that i understand how to, i have a new challenge, maintain power and speed. thank you for the time you spend to make them

    This is my main issue. They show everyone just riding away once they get their water starts down but this is what happens to me every time! I just lose power and sink. Except I'm not flying it down that low. I'm crankin that thing up and down trying to keep going but I can never get constant power from the kite to stay up.

    Thanks for sharing that mate... the more knowledge the more power..letting the bar out does seem counter intuitive but is what you need to do.. practice makes perfect

    I think the kite must be depowered a little for a more suitable angle of attack in light wind

      Yes, the pilot is trying to get power from the bar being pulled in but he needs the bar further out so he can work it much better. The kite velocity will give him more power. Also, bar pulled in so much means kite deeper in window so direction of force is less upwind. Lines can only provide tension so the force is directly towards the kite.

    Can you go upwind with kite at 930/10? I was reading a magazine article saying keep it low to water and edge?

      Certainly can, in fact it's the preferred position, but you'll need strong wind to manage it
