Thanks for showing this, Linda. You do the best testing.
Isn't it something that glitter sticks to everything in your house but falls off of things you want it to stick on? lol
Have a great day! ❤
Yes when ever I work with glitter it always seems to make it's way to my face.
Thanks Linda for another great video. I immediately had a thought about the blue showing on the canvas. Try painting the canvas blue for starters! Then the reaction would just blend in. And thanks for showing the mod podge differences. The 1/2 solution could be a nice alternative in a pinch.
You are the best teacher. Have a great day.
Thank you! You too!
I never get tired of pink hearts 💖
Thanks!
Your such a sweetheart, with your ups and downs creating everything.
😊 thank you, I try. LOL
These both turned out sooo pretty! Good to know about the Makers Magic!! Great experiment
Thanks so much! 😊
very cool experiment! I wouldn't have thought the chemical reaction would have occurred. Thanks for the video.
Thank you!
It would be nice to get feed back from everyone, especially Linda, after we do our comments. I did join her fb page.
@@lindabish8110 what do you mean I replied to everybody’s comments
Thanks for the info. It works but let's face it you do not get the same brilliance and clarity. I watched a video a couple of years ago and a women did a painting and added crushed glass and used tri-art liquid glass. I think she only used it to adhere the crushed glass and not all over the painting. Not sure if that would work or if it is as bad for you as using resin. (health wise)
You know I bought a bottle of that 1 year ago and it is still sitting here I need to do a video on that too. LOL
Great experiment, great results. Good to know about the Mod Podge and Maker's Magic.
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for showing this. It would be something I would try!
You are welcome!
Very informative! They are all very pretty!

Thanks!
absolutley gorgeous❤
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing ❤ Good job!
Thanks for watching!
I’m so glad you did this demonstration Linda. I would never have known about this. I made a heart for my granddaughter and really didn’t want to put resin over it but the glass kept falling off. This will be perfect..was getting ready to simply seal it with some other sealer I have. Good timing. 💖💖💖
One more thing…would you suggest mod podge or the Makers Magic? They seem pretty similar to me in video.
Well I feel as if this had a chemical like smell where as Mod Podge I do not think does. Makers magic is not as messsy because you can just drizzle like resin and paint with a brush . I feel it is glossier. Mod Podge you have to pour on and let sit for a while and tip and brush off. So Mod Podge is more time consuming.
I think it depends on the person Mod Podge takes much longer to dry.
Thank you for showing us different mediums Linda. I love the hearts 💕♥. Much love from Texas ♥️🤠
You are so welcome
Bellos trabajos
¡gracias!
very pretty results
Thank you! 😊
Thank you! Great info!
Glad it was helpful!
They're both really pretty! I especially like the heart on the glass even with the brushstrokes. Can you please tell me the size of the rhinestones you use. Thank you.
So I got the rhinestone chain on Temu and it does not actually list a size but here is the very long link LOLwww.temu.com/diy-super-flash-ab-colorful-rhinestone-chain-can-be-used-for-nail-art-decoration-shoes-and-clothing-decoration-water-cup-decoration-mobile-phone-case-decoration-making-violent-bear-and-other-various-diy-accessories-g-601099513809751.html?top_gallery_url=https%3A%2F%2Fimg.kwcdn.com%2Fproduct%2FFancyalgo%2FVirtualModelMatting%2Ff7cf31fb70f91507be86cf444885df6c.jpg&spec_gallery_id=11770637&refer_page_sn=10009&refer_source=0&freesia_scene=2&_oak_freesia_scene=2&_oak_rec_ext_1=NDk0&search_key=large%20rhinestone%20chain&refer_page_el_sn=200049&refer_page_name=search_result&refer_page_id=10009_1707653798570_ve9hjc9iib&_x_sessn_id=3xh105yym1
If I had to guess maybe 10mm the largest I could find on amazon was 8mm
@@crazyglassladyI have found 5 mm on Temu. Going to try your link
Nice demonstration. I think it's a nice alternative to resin, it really held the glass well. The hearts look pretty 💗💗💗
Thanks so much 😊
Thank you for sharing this info😊
You are so welcome!
So beautiful. ❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
They look nice. Thanks for your tutorials. Linda do you know if the maker magic can be tinted with color?❤❤
No so what would you do with it then just paint it on?
Hi again. I came back to watch this video again because my daughter is coming for a visit and is brining makers magic with her. She would like me to try it to see if I might like it. I plan to make a sun-catcher on a 6” plastic plate. Do you remember the curing time? I’m just wondering how long it will take to dry. Thanks.
I feel like on the flat glass and canvas, it dried within an hour, and the makers magic that I drizzled over the chunky glass was dry by the next day
Coastal Magnolia just put up a video making a frame/glass art heart in remembrance of her Mom and she sealed the crack around the glass with UV resin and hit it with the light right away. That would speed up the project instead of waiting for the glue to dry. 🤔 what do you think Linda
Yes I have heard of people doing it that way. I honestly am thinking about starting to use only painters tape . I have heard of people doing that and not having problems. The only problen with UV resin is it is costly and you have to wear a respirator.
@@crazyglasslady ahhh. I didn’t wear a respirator
It really messes up my sinuses and on the direction I think it says to wear one.@@lauriewilson4741
@@crazyglasslady I will next time, thx
