EMBROIDERY STITCH - BAYEUX

This is called the #bayeux #embroidery stitch which is good for covering a large area without using a lot of threads. The technique consists of using couching stitches on top of laid threads. You can also outline the shape with a stem stitch before adding the laid threads.
