    For all his rebounding efforts, Dennis Rodman was also a very very underrated passer.

    Kobe's spacing only created for himself, it didn't put teams in two-minds, which was why "Big Men" were pivotal to the Lakers, it drew the traffic & attention to the middle, allowing Kobe to fire off his shots, whereas MJ's spacing forced teams to choose between defending him or looking out for his open men. These tangibles, with no doubt made MJ a threat on both ends of the floor, but it also made the Bulls a formidable team!!!

    The Knicks, the Heat, the Bulls, the Pacers were all legit contenders and even the Hawks had 3-4 all stars caliber players on their team with Laetner, Mutombo, Mookie Blaylock and Steve Smith. The east was still very competitive at that time.

      +Air Magic Oh absolutely. In the early 90's, you can even count in the Cavs during their Mark Price, Brad Dougherty, Larry Nance, etc. era. The Bulls beat the best in their own conference then beat some pretty damn good teams in the finals. I think the Knicks, Heat and Pacers from the old days would more than hold their own these days.

      Definitely but I was talking about 1997. But yes until 1993, the Cavs were still a contender. They still had a true big 3 (Nance, Price, Daugherty).

      I still love the nba because I am such an hard-core fan but in comparison, the nba was much more better in the 80's and 90's and it needs to be said because TNT and ESPN tried to brainwash people those last couple of years and make them believe that the current era is the best era, which is a good joke in the best case scenario.

    Jordan never looked the slightest bit nervous or afraid of the big moment during games. His confidence was sky-high and he looked forward to beating the best.

    Very subtle move to lose the secondary defender at 7:58 - he crosses back from left to right to shake Davis.

    Quite a few cannot separate the differences between Kobe Bryant & Michael Jordan. Some, have Kobe Bryant being the better player, others Michael Jordan. But here's a factor to consider between the two, MJ'S spacing on the floor is second to none. If you watch closely at how he's able to get away from the defenders, while attracting them at the same time, opens up the floor, not only for himself, but his team. Rarely, he'll miss a teammate when they're open.

    Phil Jackson said it in his book. Mj is better than Kobe. Because he is more a leader than Kobe. Enough said.

      He actually and basically said that Jordan was better in every aspect of the game : ball handling, shooting, defense, leadership, smarter player, better at playing within the flow of the game etc. And for anybody who knows well both players, it's the obvious truth.

    i have watched some of the 90's.. the game is different and i would rather prefer 90's bball than today's Billion dollar era

    Thats the main difference between kobe and mj to me jordan was more efficent than kobe ever was, plus mj played within an offense much better than kobe. Plus his off-Ball movement was poetry

    Seems low because they made the game so easy for perimeter palyers with no hand checking, a defensive 3 second rule & calling hard fouls as flagrants. Before, less than 20 players in the NBA would average over 20 ppg as the defense was intense, well thought out & punishing to smaller players who tried to drive and score in the paint. Now you have too many players scoring over 20ppg as it is too easy for offense. MJ scored 51 @ age 38 in todays game. Imagine MJ actually going for stats!!!!

    • @boogieloo1831
      @boogieloo1831 5 років тому

      Shermstyle23 - exactly!!!! The rules have created an environment where any athletic 6' guard can score 30 pts per night.
      Jordan in today's game where any contact is a foul, he'd be unstoppable!

    The NBA is just not fun to watch anymore... They're all babies with multimillion dollar contracts and they all stack teams. There is no balance and there's no competition.
