- Popular UK actor David Tennant, best known for his role as "Doctor Who," "Casanova" and as "Bartemius 'Barty' Crouch Junior" in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," now stars in the FOX crime drama "Gracepoint."

I love how the host start off by introducing how Gracepoint (broadchurch) is all dark broody and moody, and then the camera just pans to a happy David with a big bright, beaming smile.
This is actually my favorite interview he had in America. "It's not me..." Really David, we all know it's you who people love. I want to meet him so badly

Why can't Broadchurch just be aired in America.... It was only a year ago and its is English.... This happened to The Inbetweeners and The Office as well
Wasn't the US Office more of a reboot, since the British one didn't get good ratings?
And they remade being human into a American being human
TheJrbdog the British office was successful but the humour is different to the American office so yes it was more of a reboot as there were different different storylines and characters where as Gracepoint is practically the same script as broadchurch just in America

CuteTimster I did. Didn’t like it as much. I love British humor. Also, it was hard to listen to David Tennant with an American accent. 😂 I did like how they ended Gracepoint though.
@@AngelaCina I know what you mean .. however ( now you can tell I'm English ) I liked both and at least he had a go at an American accent .I found I needed to watch them as if they aren't connected but still have the brilliant Mr Tennant in both of them .I live in England but I am ironically watching Gracepoint on Scottish Television ...Have a healthy lockdown and best wishes from Bedford , England ..Tim
CuteTimster I’m American but grew up with an Irish mom. David and Olivia were brilliant together. I didn’t get the same feeling from David and Anna. Their chemistry felt forced to me.

His American accent lowkey made me uncomfortable.
Not that it was a bad, but...it was kinda off. Might be because I'm so used to his Scottish/English accent.

Yeah, I hear a mix of a few different American accents in there, but I can understand why it might be difficult to learn which is which

Yeah, The Proclaimers is his favorite band. Not sure if you saw it either, but he did a video towards the end of Doctor Who with him, the rest of the cast and crew and The Proclaimers.

They would've had a hard time finding a clip to represent his time as The Doctor which would be more confusing to people who don't watch the show. Two Doctors, two Queen Elizabeths, all of them talking to people through a swirling vortex thingy. I know that was his most recent appearance as The Doctor, but couldn't they have found something more accessible to general audiences?
They should have used the clip of him riding a horse into a ballroom from a spaceship.

It is word for word, with cheaper-ish actors except for Tennant. I honestly believe Broadchurch is better because it's the original concept..
