As one UA-camr to another I appreciate your video. I’ve been looking to upgrade my fork from a fox rhythm to a fox float but I’ve been wary on the grip2 and that fit4 would be less complicated but after watching this video a couple times i’m pretty confident that I would be able to set this fork up with ease. Thank you for the information. I’m ordering the fork now.
Thanks! I would always choose the grip 2 over fit4. Suspension doesn’t need to be complicated, don’t feel like you have to use all the adjustments. I run very little compression, and just focus on air pressure and rebound more. Thanks Len
Potentially the low speed compression could affect the sag. If you follow the rule of air pressure/sag first, then volume spacers and finally compression then you should be in the right zone. It’s all personal preference, ride what works for you, but you’ll only learn by trying different settings and feeling the results. Thanks Len
OTT kinda works in reverse to most other forks. You add/remove tokens to make the mid to end of the travel harder or softer (Fox, Rockshox) But OTT has the end setup already so as you adjust it, it makes the start of the travel harder/softer. Hope that makes sense, Len
@@garage31 Yes it does. At first I had quite a few issues with the fork. Then I realized I was not running enough air in my rear shock due to the high leverage ratio on my bike which was keeping the fork from being very active as the rear of the bike was diving and the fork was using very little of its travel. Had to go to 220 PSI in the rear shock over the recommended for my weight 180 PSI to get to 20-25% SAG and then the fork came alive.

Great content mate, keep up the good work!
Awesome vid!! Keep it up!!!
Thanks for the instruction. Does it matter what setting compression is in when setting up the sag? or there is no effect?

How Familiar are you with DVO and the OTT settings? How does that compare to the tokens use in Fox and Rockshox

I detect a little Scottish in your voice. Do you have Scottish roots? Great vids by the way.
Thanks! Yes originally from Aberdeen but I now live in Squamish BC. Thanks Len
