Really nice to be able to see your lake house. I was picturing more of a rustic cabiny-type home, for some reason! 🤣 It’s actually more of a nature-inspired 2.0 of your main home. So beautiful and the view alone would usher in such peace and tranquility. Leave it to your gift of creativity to think to use placemats in frames. Loved those! I was thinking, you know what you could always put in that space at the end of the kitchen where the standing plants are? A small or narrow desk. They’re often found in kitchens, and make a nice space to write notes, jot out grocery or to-do lists, etc. I always appreciate how detailed you are in where things came from. Have been looking for a small lamp, and didn’t think of Walmart. Even though I’m in L.A., where we have multiples of stores everywhere, Walmart is a distance away. Will go on their website! Welcome back! So happy to see your video today. You are looking well! Your lake home is beautiful and so thoughtfully designed and decorated -- a true reflection of your personality. You asked if it was what we were thinking it was or something different. I must admit it is more than I had imagined for a second home/vacation home. Many times, people look for small spaces in their vacation homes and minimal decor. Oftentimes, cooking and cleaning are NOT what they want to do on vacation and they are basically just looking for a place to crash. But knowing you, and how much you enjoy taking care of your primary home, and taking care of your people, this vacation home makes total sense and is fitting. I hope that came out the right way! Looking forward to more videos in the future as you continue on your path of healing.
It did. This house is quite smaller than our regular home, but for us, we love 'being home' and wanted a place where we could just go and stay. Cook our own food and walk on and off the lake. Also, a place for our kids to bring their friends along. It works well for us to do all of those things.

Hi Missy - so glad to see you looking so good and to hear you’ve already had reconstructive surgery. Girl you’re on the downhill slide and almost back to normal. Yay. Your Lakehouse was amazing. When I would hear you talk of your Lakehouse I would picture something a lot less nice. Almost a cabin type structure. But this house is very nice. I had my preop lab work done yesterday and I will have my second surgery on May 20. All three of my doctors have given approval for the surgery so I think I’m ready to go. I’ll be glad to get it over with. They will take out the stent they put in there last month that bypassed The large kidney stone and take the stone out as well. They have waited for 30 days for the infection to clear up after the first surgery. Also I had to be hospitalized again after the first surgery due to fluid buildup around my heart and lungs. But that seems to be all cleared up now.Thank you so much for showing us this beautiful home. Love in Christ
