Yeah, it really did go down like this.
Burning Man is the world's largest art festival.
It's also a huge music festival.
It's a cultural experiment centered on its 10 principles.
It's a community event.
It's a fashion show.
It's a carnival.
It's an urban experiment.
It's a spiritual pilgrimage.
It's a movement.
It's a celebration of death and rebirth.
It's a vision of the future of civilization.
What I don't understand is why is the event held in a dessert amid dust storms? There may be so many who buy into all that you aptly summarized here and want to experience it, minus the dust and heat.
@@Anione111 The desert provides a blank slate for large-scale creativity. It's desolate remoteness is a disincentive for the casual observer or the dilettante. The harsh environment is a an invitation to both psychological, physical and environmental transformation. Its wilderness emphasizes self-care and respect for the gifts of community and civilization.

It's the most freeing, exhilarating and incredible feeling in the world to witness such magnificence in one place. Mayan Warrior embodies all of this every burn. Thankful for your troop!

As an old burner, from the time when photos or images were born only to those who dared to physically see; it is still outrageously offensive to the original sanctity that so boldly do people portray the inner mysticism of this gathering.
Call me traditional, and while the editing of these clips is well done, i can't help but feel protective over the fact that these on goings have been projected for the whole world to see.
Again, absolutely beautiful work! ...but still utterly misses the soul of the event.
I'm sure you got everyone's consent to be filmed as well, right? ;)
