I’m not shocked at the fighting game inspiration. ZZZ’s character roster aesthetically resembles a fighting game roster. It reminds me a lot of Street Fighter III: Third Strike in its art and music direction as well.
@@bencegergohocz5988 I doubt it's PVP. Hoyo never does PVP in their games apart from competitive leaderboards and minigames that don't matter. They're probably just gonna expand on co-op since it was very limited in the CBT.
I’m pretty sure the reason they say that they took inspiration from SF6 is because the ZZZ devs talked with the SF6 devs about game development, you can see the discussion on the ZZZ UA-cam iirc.

If they do a multiplayer battle mode, I kinda hope it doesn't lock any notable rewards behind it. Because that is a major design flaw of H3rd. The abyss is a competitive leaderboard, and to get to the higher ranks, you have to be a giga whale. Honestly, I just want them to do Co-op and only that for MP. Competitive battle and Gacha are never a good mix.
Just because they have it done it in the past doesn’t mean that can’t change now especially since the producer said he was given a bit more freedom in this project for what he would like in a previous interview
