    About this item
【For 9-100V battery bank】Suitable for 9-100V, 0-200AH battery bank. Auto recognition for different batteries, such as li-ion, LiFePO4, Gel, AGM, etc.
【 Precise Data】the displays include battery voltage/current/power and current capacity, remaining time, and volume percent. It has backlight function for monitoring at night.
【Easier to set up】with hall sensor,it can be easier for wiring compared with the shunt. No necessary to install with screws.just wire the cable through the hall sensor.
【Programmable Parameters】14 items can be programmed.such as high/low voltage, amperage, temperature, etc. When reach the programmed value, the alarm will be sent out by flashing.
    【Package include】LCD display*1, hall sensor*1, xxin display-battery cable*1, xxin display-hall sensor cable*1, manual*1
TIPS:The battery capacity shown on the monitor is not the real capacity when you first use this meter. To measure the battery accurately, the capacity needs to be zeroed. Discharge your battery till empty and press the “▼” button for 3s to zero the capacity. Then charge you battery till it’s full.

I have one of these fitted to my EV motorbike. It doesn't matter if you put the current transformer on the positive or the negative wire as the current flowing is the same in each. What does matter is the direction the current flows through the coil....one way it will read positive, turn it around and it will read negative. These things are a lot cleverer than simply measuring current and voltage.....they measure coulombs which is a measure of current and time. One coulomb is one amp flowing for one second and this meter counts the number of amps over time flowing through the coil to determine the state of charge of the battery. I programmed mine using the manual method where I fully charged the battery, then entered the maximum voltage and the capacity of the battery, which in my case was 79.5v and 30 Ah.

Why do you put the negativ wire trough the hole?
In the picture I see the positve wire trough the hole

I do apologize but I am new to this... How many amps do I have in a battery bank that is set up of 6 batteries and each of 12V - 60amps, what are the total amps? 360 amps?

Depends on your set up, but if you have 6 x 12v batteries I'm going to assume that they're wired in parallel and its a 12v system, not a 72v system wired in series. ( parallel = pos -> pos & neg -> neg). This means you have a 12v system, and the amps are added together, so yes 6 x 60 amps = 360 amps total.
If the system was wired in series, you would be wired pos -> neg on each battery, this would be 6 x 12v, 72v, but the amps would stay the same. So you either have 12v system and 360a/h, or a 72v system at 60a/h. Hope that helps!!

If you have two 2:24 12v batteries in parallel, do you need one of these for each battery?
